This is a stunning uplook and shows Gaudi’s architectural genius in a great light, metaphorically and literally. Up with with the Sagrada Familia, that’s for sure.

This was possibly my absolute favourite building in Barcelona – maybe even having the edge over Sagrada Familia. I loved the tour inside. Did you do that?

Houses in narrow streets are so difficult to photograph but you nailed it. Those balconies sure helped, they create wonderful light effects. (each one an “I see faces”, btw, almost like a Venetian carnival mask).

That’s a really good image of it. I find it hard to get good photos of this place. Mainly because it was always deluged by crowds round it.

I don’t think the crowds were too bad that day. In the past few years Barcelona has been done no favours by being such an attractive city. Covid will surely have cured that, sadly! 😦

It’s a disaster for the economy, but many inhabitants will be pleased. They were priced out of their own city.
