We’ve moved on today. Still with Gaudi, dominating the skyline, but now in Parc Guell. La Sagrada Familia is still visible in the distance.

An interesting place, I found it fascinating and disappointing in equal measures.

Why disappointing, Andrew? 🤔💕

Not much to see, overcrowded and expensive. when we went in 2018 we were charged full price and it was a building site as the terrace was undergoing urgent repairs.
It is not Gaudi but have you visited Palau de la musica?

Yes and loved it. Photos will follow shortly 🤗💕

You certainly indulged your love of photography around the Gaudi places and they are all lovely images. Thanks for taking us on this visit.

My question is: Why would you want to move on?
I could just settle down in any of these places.
Oh! just remembered: Restless.

I loved it, Sue, but I’ve heard adverse things, mostly related to cost and crowds. We were lucky 🤗💕💕

Downward spiral, Tish 🤣🤣! Plans to meet friends for lunch went awry. Beans on toast 💕💕

Oh well. Beans on toast have their moments – at least while you’re eating them. It’s pretty grim here today too.

Warm hugs gratefully received, though have just finished knitting a thing that calls itself a snuggly snood (a long tube of soft wool) and boy is it snuggly. Am wearing it now. Could do with an all-over body version.

We loved this place, had a wander around the gardens before entering the pay for section. I wouldn’t go back though. It’s one of those places that you have to see once.

I’m inclined to agree with you, but I would go back to Sagrada Familia 🤗💕

Oh, yes. That one must be evolving all the time – if they are still working on it of course. I suppose this covid thing will have set back the work.

Builders are still working on sites here. I would still go back if it was unaltered but it was progressing rapidly and this was maybe 6 years ago? Can’t remember but I think it was my 65th treat 🤔💕💕

Builders still work on sites here too and no social distancing, no masks. And then we wonder how this virus is spreading!

Ours do wear masks, which can’t be great doing physical work. I’ve just come back from shopping and that’s enough for me 🙄💕

It was a November birthday treat. A lovely sunny day and we arrived top deck of the tourist bus. Almost first through the gates and left to go up the hill to the fairground before it got too busy 🤣🤣
