We’ve moved on today. Still with Gaudi, dominating the skyline, but now in Parc Guell. La Sagrada Familia is still visible in the distance.

Loved seeing all the artistic buildings while Barcelona.
It’s a beautiful city, isn’t it? ๐ ๐
Great shot, Jo. I loved visiting this amazing place!
I had a hard time picking my favourite place in Barcelona, Jane. Thanks, hon ๐ ๐
another Gaudi masterpiece! loving this series, Jo! ๐
Thanks so much, darlin ๐ค๐
I love everything about Barcelona ๐งก
There’s a lot to love, Aiva ๐ค๐
Love the curves in the square! Awesome view…
I thought it stunning, Rita. I’d never been anywhere like it before ๐ค๐
An interesting place, I found it fascinating and disappointing in equal measures.
Why disappointing, Andrew? ๐ค๐
Not much to see, overcrowded and expensive. when we went in 2018 we were charged full price and it was a building site as the terrace was undergoing urgent repairs.
It is not Gaudi but have you visited Palau de la musica?
Yes and loved it. Photos will follow shortly ๐ค๐
It was my favourite in Barcelona.
You certainly indulged your love of photography around the Gaudi places and they are all lovely images. Thanks for taking us on this visit.
Still got three quarters of a month to go, Mari! Think I can hold out that long without boring everyone ๐ค๐๐
Great shot, Jo! This would make for a fun jigsaw puzzle.
That’s very true, Jill. Thanks, hon ๐ค๐
My question is: Why would you want to move on?
I could just settle down in any of these places.
Oh! just remembered: Restless.
Nowhere is perfect forever, Esther ๐ค๐
We just keep looking.
Parc Guell is a place I never got to see
I loved it, Sue, but I’ve heard adverse things, mostly related to cost and crowds. We were lucky ๐ค๐๐
OK
Fabulous, indeed, Jo. Hoping your day improves.
Downward spiral, Tish ๐คฃ๐คฃ! Plans to meet friends for lunch went awry. Beans on toast ๐๐
Oh well. Beans on toast have their moments – at least while you’re eating them. It’s pretty grim here today too.
Sending warm hugs! Half way down a packet of digestives now. Saving mince pies for later ๐๐
Warm hugs gratefully received, though have just finished knitting a thing that calls itself a snuggly snood (a long tube of soft wool) and boy is it snuggly. Am wearing it now. Could do with an all-over body version.
๐คฃ๐คฃ
That’s another wonderful Gaudi place – he was so imaginative.
I found the city amazing and mostly it was down to Gaudi ๐ค๐
I agree.
This was one of our favorite places in Spain! Lovely photo!
I was there for a birthday. 65th I think but they blend into one ๐คฃ๐ Thanks!
We loved this place, had a wander around the gardens before entering the pay for section. I wouldn’t go back though. It’s one of those places that you have to see once.
I’m inclined to agree with you, but I would go back to Sagrada Familia ๐ค๐
Oh, yes. That one must be evolving all the time – if they are still working on it of course. I suppose this covid thing will have set back the work.
Builders are still working on sites here. I would still go back if it was unaltered but it was progressing rapidly and this was maybe 6 years ago? Can’t remember but I think it was my 65th treat ๐ค๐๐
There is a lot to see.
Builders still work on sites here too and no social distancing, no masks. And then we wonder how this virus is spreading!
Ours do wear masks, which can’t be great doing physical work. I’ve just come back from shopping and that’s enough for me ๐๐
I agree, horrible things. Make me hot and feeling claustrophobic.
Lovely shot ans brings back such wonderful memories. Visited there with our middle son and daughter-in-law. Beautiful place.
It really is, Jonno. It was a birthday treat for me ๐ค๐
Another place on my list! Keep it coming!
Ah, I have such nice memories of this day ๐ ๐
Looks like it!
I love that little building. Always wanted to go inside ๐
Yes, me too, Brian ๐๐
What a gorgeous view! ๐
It’s a fabulous place, hon ๐๐
Lovely! Would you believe we’ve only been to Parc Guell once? It was so ridiculously crowded it put us off.
It was a November birthday treat. A lovely sunny day and we arrived top deck of the tourist bus. Almost first through the gates and left to go up the hill to the fairground before it got too busy ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Perfect. Must Try Harder in our case. But in our case, there’s always Next Time.
ah I thought when you said you were moving on you were leaving Barcelona – but you are still here and what a view. Fabulous SquareUp, hope you have a better night tonight though xx
My theme actually is Barcelona, but it’s a slow reveal ๐ ๐ Can’t get my comments to work though so the day is off to a flying start!
grey days are meant to be slow
Well mine certainly is today!
Got to keep on the move here to stay warm today ๐คฃ๐
