Looking up at the divine

Inside and outside, there is so much to see! Adoration barely covers it. My little Christmas crib will be tucked away securely for another year tonight, along with the tree. I’ll just take one last look at Becky’s.

  1. Lovely. I still have all my decorations up. I like to leave them up at least through Epiphany and usually longer than that. They look so festive and it took lots of time putting them up, so we might as well enjoy them. However, needing to dust may take over soon. Lots more dust here than in Illinois. We’ll see. No one will notice dust until I take everything down anyway. πŸ™‚

    1. We always heard that it was unlucky to keep them up after 12th night, but we could never agree if that meant down by midnight on 5th or 6th πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ We don’t have big time decorations, so they’re put away in an hour, but no less enjoyable for that. I love to come down on a morning and sit with just the tree lights. I’ll miss that tomorrow. 😦

  2. Ah, one of my favorite architects…what a place this cathedral is! I remember being totally awed as I wandered around inside. The colors, the forms…fond memories of Barcelona. Wishing you a very wonderful New Year Jo! ❀️ Stay safe.

    1. I imagine so, Jonno, though I’m not currently in Barcelona. Daytime temps here have dropped to 12/13C and that’s pretty low for us. It’s fine if you’re out in the sunshine but we have a few rainy days coming up before we get back to ‘normal’. And then it will be Spring πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
