Excellent choice for a silent post
And zooming in I appreciated the texture and detail – reminded me of a dinosaur at one part and then the angle with the blue sky was cool too
It’s one of a series, Yvette. Looking back at my Barcelona folders I got a bit obsessed with the architecture and the details. π π All the best to you as we move forward into 2021.
My original intention was to stick with skwares through the month because I have very few links to share, Janet, but I’ve just had a look at my photos and I do have a short walk I can share, if I have time to write it… Not sure at this juncture, but I will be physically walking tomorrow anyway. Do whatever works for you. If not this week, then next π π
Ha! I had to look at “skwares” about four times before I figured out what you meant. π Fair enough. I’ll just see what you do. No big deal either way.
Sorry hon. Just cooking supper. If I use my phone I have a letter Q. It has died on my laptop. Extremely inconvenient when it comes to a square challenge π€£π€£
Sitting up and looking down, what a gorgeous blue sky
No time to think! Too busy walking these days. Though we did declare a rest day today, and I actually sat up top with a book for a couple of hours this morning. π π
It’s good to relax now and then, you are definitely doing my share of walking! But then you have the temperatures to go out in.
Silent Sunday?
I remember giggling in church. π¦
More than once. π¦ π¦
Thanks, darlin π π And no, I’m not a tease! I genuinely didn’t think about Margaret when I started to put this series together. I’m sorry- I should have done. π¦
This is indeed very wonderful π
Thanks a lot, Hammad. It’s such a beautiful building π π

And same to you Jo
Intriguing capture!
Sagrada Familia is a pretty amazing subject, Rita π π
Oh what a marvelous photo π
Thanks, Cee! So many great shots to take around Sagrada Familia π€π
I like it! Are you walking tomorrow? Just getting my weekly posts ready and if you’re walking, I need to move some things around. π Happy Sunday.

It’s the same clear blue today, Alice, but a little cooler π π
That’s a good thing in January, same here
undeniably Sagrada! great shot, Jo π
Thanks sweetheart π€π
A very unusual angle to a familiar church. Lovely photograph. Is it cropped from a larger one or was this the original shot?
Close to the original but I cropped it a bit to make the square work. Happy Sunday, Mari ππ
Such an interesting building. After days of rain, Iβm loving the blue sky too!
Purest blue here today ππ
Could be a brown contribution too!
It could π€£π

La Sagrada is more than special. Hope you celebrate the first Sunday of 2021 with a slice of cake.
Perhaps a mince pie, Frank. And I have some chocolate – dipped jammy dodgers π€£. Sitting up on the roof smiling at the thought.
Glad I was able to remind you to include a dessert for your day. After all, I didn’t want you to forget.
what a great shot
Thanks, hon π π It doesn’t look skware to me but I know it is!
hee hee your own photos are not meant to play with your eyes!
What an unusual sculpture ! Is it from the Sagrada Familia?
Yes, this week’s skwares all are π π (sorry, don’t have a _)
Great perspective!
Thanks, darlin π π And no, I’m not a tease! I genuinely didn’t think about Margaret when I started to put this series together. I’m sorry- I should have done. π¦
No, youβre not a tease in this instance….but you can be!
Stop going to Barcelona Jo! You’re making me sad! Lovely photo though.
I think you might be better not to read my skwares this month, Margaret. I’m sorry π¦ π¦
It’s OK Jo. Bittersweet. I shall have a couple this week too. Reyes and all that.
Are they all going to be from this cathedral?
Guess again π€£π
All from Barcelona?
Jo is a tease
Mmmm.
these are so beautiful images, impressive..
Thanks so much, Mihran! I’ve meant to visit your blog but there is never enough time. Hope you had a good festive season. π π
So many images that evoke a memory Jo. Excellent choice for a Silent Sunday π
I’m still smiling at the image of your girls, Brian. Thank you for that π π
You’re welcome Jo π
There must be so much detail on this building. You could stand there all day and keep on looking.
You can! And taking photos to look back on π π
