Six word Saturday

I could be driven to drink!

But not gin, please! Really, it’s been that kind of week. Don’t ask! Take Six Words to Debbie instead. Happy weekend!

      1. That’s good! All well here, and enjoying getting lots of photos and videos of our new little grandson. Such a different time from when our girls were born and we lived 1000 km from family. We had to just rely on taking photos and getting them developed and then posting them in the mail. Now it’s instant gratification at its absolute best. 🙂

  1. Hope your weekend is nothing like your past “kind of” week, Jo! Weekends are usually when I allow myself a drink and feel I deserved it. But, I don’t like to drink alone, so my hubby has to be up for it as well. He hasn’t so far. Maybe tonight?

    1. It’s been up and down, Liesbet, and I try to keep things in proportion, but not always successfully. We were at a fabulous jazz concert this afternoon so I did partake of a wine or two 🙂 🙂

  2. Avoiding all mention of bad weeks and days, and avoiding Covid19, I just want to say I like your banner headline very much!

    1. Actually, the day was perfect, Janet. Just home from a lunchtime jazz concert with some fine musicians. The week gone by was full of ups and downs, and the week ahead is full of restrictions, but I still have good friends to share with. I’m probably luckier than I deserve to be 🙂 🙂 But I appreciate the hugs.

      1. Since you had a not-quiite-as-bad-week I thought I mention it now before I cannot mention it anymore because it has been too long. You’re missing a k in my name: Elke. But I’ve been called worse than Ellie! (btw: Amanda at StpA calls me “Knicker” which is fine as well.)

      2. No need. As I wrote: I’ve been called a lot worse. You’re welcome to call me anything you like but I didn’t want to read in year’s time “You should have told me!!” 😀

      1. No worries! Jazz concert at lunchtime. May have to be indoors, cos of the weather, which is a bummer but we’ll try for a window seat or not stay if the spacing isn’t good. Supper out tonight and a walk planned tomorrow. We’ll go down fighting. Waterloo spirit- just not gin 🙂
