Six word Saturday

At the mercy of the tide

Such a fragile ecosystem!   The tide rushes in and out each day, reshaping the shoreline with every sweep.   It’s a watery Perspective that I love.  Not all square, nor strictly Six Words, but incredibly beautiful.  Have a good weekend!

P.S. No Monday walk again.  Someone has a birthday and we will be in the Western Algarve.  Back soon!

P.P.S.  If you are viewing this on a phone or tablet the colours are too harsh.  Imagine them a little softer.

    1. That’s good to know, Dippy. I have laptop issues and have to check how the post looks on the phone. Not so subtle as I like. Feeling gently chilled today. 😍🏖️💕

  1. A good Saturday to you, Jo. Ahhh, these shots made me feel much cooler. Such beautiful colors. Happy birthday to someone and thanks for mentioning that you’re not walking Monday. I’ll be missing the next several walks because I’m heading to Wyoming next week, but that means I’ll have lots of walks or rides to share once I get back. 🙂 No internet where I’ll be and that makes it all the more relaxing. 🙂 Have a lovely, lovely weekend.

    1. Have a great time in Wyoming! Family visit I presume. I’m still hoping ours are coming at the end of this month so you’ll not miss much on here. 😍🏖️💕

      1. Our girls are both flying out (prayers for that) and I’m driving. My husband can’t make it unfortunately. We have a cabin there and since college I’ve only missed one or two summers. It will be especially appreciated this year!

  3. The perfect 6 words, Jo. And when we lived in the southern USA by the ocean, we learned it also impacts the marsh tidal basins where the crabs scramble for cover as the tides recedes. Gorgeous photos. Enjoy your weekend. ~Terri

      1. I love the sea as well, Jo. On a clear day or beneath a thundery storm it fascinates me. Any body of water in fact! Must be my Piscean influence. Seeing your sea is equally fascinating, and I can imagine how unreal it looks. 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Margaret. I shall have my hands full making someone happy this weekend. He’s starting with homemade scones and plum jam for breakfast! (not made in my home, of course 🙂 ) Some folks do live well!
