Six word Saturday

O come, let us adore him…

Our hotel room looked directly out on Leeds Cathedral.  On Christmas morning the bells rang out, inviting us to celebrate a special birth.  I hope you had a beautiful time, too.  Happy Six Word Saturday!

    1. When we’ve stayed there before we’ve been at the back of the hotel, Peta, so it was a lovely change, and a beautiful service. 🙂 🙂 Thanks, darlin! Wishing you and Ben a great year ahead.

  1. Truly glorious, Jo. It was a quiet Christmas for us, but genuinely blessed. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos of such a worshipful and beautiful setting.

  2. You had me confused as I didn’t realise that Leeds had a cathedral. My home town of Wakefield does and I have spent a few Christmas eves singing there. So I had to look this up and find that this is in fact a Catholic cathedral, dedicated to St Anne. Looks nice and there is nothing better than listening to church bells ringing. Hope you had a lovely time with your boy, travel problems not withstanding.

  3. Oooh, I didn’t know Leeds Parish Church had been promoted though there was talk of it when we lived there. My son was a boy chorister there back in the day. A very special sound, those treble voices.
