Six word Saturday

A night of illusion and fantasy

Not easy to recreate with photographs, but this video shows some of the effort that went into creating LUZA 2019 at Faro.  A night full of light!

Wishing you all a happy weekend!  I guess this one fits Debbie’s Light theme as well as Six Word Saturday.

  1. Very cool Jo, and such a challenge to photograph! WE have an event coming up here called “Lights of Magnolia” done in a beautiful garden decorated with dozens of huge Chinese light sculptures. Can’t wait to see it but can only hope my photos come out as beautifully as yours did! They’re not allowing tripods or momopods unfortunately

    1. I just shoot and hope, Tina. The software is so good that I can make most of my photos look good even when they’re a bit duff. There’s always the no hopers though 🙂 🙂 Love the sound and music at these things! Happy Sunday, Tina!

    1. That’s a hope so many are sharing with you, hon. It’s quite autumnal here this week. A neighbour is coming out for just a week and I’m pretty sure she’ll get that rain you’re needing 😦 😦

  2. Wow super photos Jo ! Must have been great fun there with a group of friends .
Nice it wasn’t too busy being the first night , so how long is it on for then Jo ?
Have a lovely rest of the weekend x

    1. Just 3 nights, Poppy. I expect last night and tonight to be busier, but it suited us nicely. Just me and Mick were going but others joined in, so it was a fun evening. Good to support local events 🙂 🙂 Thanks, hon!

  3. Looks like a great evening out Jo, and much better than what we had locally last November. Our town was celebrating 21 years of its art initiative and for brief periods on the Friday and Saturday evening the front of the town hall was illuminated with different colours and images. I got some great photos for my blog but the event was very poorly advertised so I think I may have missed out on a lot of it 😦
