Is it ok to spoon here?
Spoonbills seem to love this patch of the Algarve, rich in algae as it is. I do too, and the interesting Shadows it creates.
Some of us have seen better days! This is my 300th Six word Saturday. Maybe time to retire gracefully?

Congratulations on the 300th, too soon to retire, unless of course you are planning to be in the boat on the water, have a great day

Not too sure what the plan is from here, Alice, but there certainly isn’t a lot of time to blog 🙂 🙂 Thanks- the day was enormous fun!

Absolutely not, Jo. Retiring is not an option. (Missing a week or 2 or XX, as in my case is quite fine. Ahem). Great photos, Jo.

Love the title and congratulations on #300. I didn’t know Six Word Saturday had been around that long. I’ve been blogging about 7 years, but haven’t done the Six Word challenge during most of that time. Didn’t know what I was missing!

It started way before Debbie, Janet, on Blogspot. I was a newbie then and had no idea about the challenges. I was drawn in, and somehow I’ve never escaped 🙂 🙂

Been rock and rolling all afternoon, Tina. Completely worn out! 🙂 🙂 I know- stupid thing to do with an afternoon. It wasn’t my idea 🙂

Whose side are you on, Janaline? I’ve been trying to retire gracefully for the past year and I’m not making a very good job of it. 🙂 🙂

My very first was at Sand City, back in the days when we were tourists and newbies, Jill. 🙂 🙂 It’s been a joyful ride.

Yay! Congratulations on your Six Word Saturday Milestone. 🌈💐 Nearly six years and don’t you dare retire! Your posts are the perfect start to my weekend and this one is no exception. I’ve never seen a spoonbill before and it’s a treat to see these enjoying the bay and what a stunning relaxing view! As always, I’m awed by the blue of the sky! Happy Weekend, Jo! 😀🌺

Thanks, sweetheart 🙂 🙂 Having an unusually laid back Saturday morning as we’re at a rock and roll gig this afternoon (don’t ask! 🙂 ) and it’s been a busy week. Enjoy your weekend!

Hope you had a great afternoon… and you know the worst thing is to say don’t ask! So, rock and roll gig?? Any chance to dance? What kind of music?

A walking friend loves to organise a party and he has a huge range of friends. It was 50s, 60s and 70s and he made it afternoon time so that people could get home by train and not be tempted to drink/drive. It seemed a little strange to be bopping about at 2 in the afternoon, but very good fun. 🙂 🙂

Probably have a new (and possibly vulgar) term for it now a days. Remember “smooching???”
