Six word Saturday

Beautifully square, or not so square?

That seems to be the theme of my week so far.  In case you missed it, I raised a smile with a square on Thursday.  Today I’m going for beauty.  Becky is determined to turn our March Square.  Why fight it?  And, with a little thought, you can describe it all in six words.

Have a happy weekend!

  1. This Guardian Angel hung over my daughter’s bed when she was a little girl. It was a lovely print of the original and I loved the feeling of safety it evoked. Beautiful tile work, Jo!

  2. Wow!! 😀 A warm and welcome red hue to these tiles with a beautiful pattern and the centre tile is striking! Oh, I would roll with the squares and we’re all enjoying your selections. Hope you’re having a very special Mother’s Day, Jo! 🌸

  3. I love the square theme! These stunning tiles remind me of a traditional patchwork quilt pattern. I think it’s called the wedding or wedding ring. It’s made up of interlocking circles. I can’t begin to imagine how difficult piecing the circles out of tiny scraps of fabric must be.

  4. A bit OTT for me but nonetheless plenty of squares and circles and swirls to confuse Becky. Hope you are settling back in to life here: at least you know it is not for long and not forever. 🙂

      1. You have a date then …. so we have to see when the move is happening *smile – Good luck to you. Otherwise we have to get tuned in with your bookings. Is there bus connection between Faro and your village. ???

    1. You might remember Santa Luzia, Cathy. With all the boats 🙂 🙂 It’s a bit wet and dismal today but I’ve been to zumba and am meeting a friend soon. Have a nice day!

      1. Ah, yes, Jo. I just revisited the Santa Luzia post. I forgot the name of the place, but I absolutely remember the day fondly. After the luggage debacle! I hope you have found some sunshine now. 🙂

      2. Very watery English sunshine, Cathy, but we did have a nice stroll on a local beach yesterday. 🙂 🙂 I should have walked back from t’ai chi this morning but I was offered a lift so I hopped in. More snow forecast this weekend, can you believe? Hoping it’s just up on the Pennines. Selfish rat, aren’t I?

      3. I’m glad you enjoyed your walk on the beach.
Nooooo! Not more snow. I hope it stays far away from you. We have slightly more springlike temps forecast for this weekend. I have a 7.5 mile hike planned with the Mid-Atlantic Hiking Group, so I’m happy for the sunshine forecast.
