It’s impossible not to be dragged into one of Becky’s challenges, isn’t it, no matter how gloomy you may be feeling? I only wish I had a Mad March Hare, though I probably shouldn’t have said that. Someone’s sure to come up with one.
Go on! Take part! It only takes a few minutes to find a March Square.

Well that’s bright and cheery!

Just a bit ‘in your face’. 🙂 🙂 Something to lighten the gloom, Elaine. Rainy days are back 😦

Well one can’t help but smile at that. Any rabbit or hare in our neck of the woods would be hard pressed to dig out of a snowbank. Two to three times the amount of snowfall this year so some lovely yellow brightens the day a great deal. Hope you are doing well! Xo

In our backyard the piles are taller than I am! A couple of feet deep in the front yard on the flat.

LOL, I swear when I first saw the photo it kind of painted from top to bottom on my screen and I thought it was going to be the back of a toilet. Maybe that’s an idea worth selling 😀😀. In any case you brought a big smile to my day with this one Jo!

Yes, it would brighten most bathrooms, Tina. 🙂 🙂 Maybe just a little overpowering, but definitely worth a smile.

A photo (square) that makes anybody smile! Well done, Jo. 🙂 Not sure what a Mad March Hare is. British tradition?

I’ve seen how glum you’re feeling on several peoples posts, hope your photo cheered you up as much as it did me. Actually Friday tomorrow works for me. Do you know when you’re going back next yet? x 🙂 x

I’m a proper misery sometimes, aren’t I? 🙂 🙂 Just all felt a bit flat, but I’m getting myself back in motion. No real planning done yet, Gilly. Balls all up in the air. Ooops- sounds jolly uncomfortable! You have to laugh 🙂

Nah you can’t stay in the doldrums for long, I can’t either. What about making yourself a plan for something different at the weekend? x 🙂 x

People like you and Brian keep cheering me up by leaving nice comments. 🙂 I have semi-plans but am waiting to hear from James. Lauren is going to Doncaster to see her Mum on Sunday so we’re a bit up in the air. Probably lunch with a friend on Saturday- Mick will be ‘at the match’, and he’s quite busy workwise. No gallivanting planned but I do want to think about the Azores (and just possibly Poland 🙂 ) I should email but I’m a bit lacking in oomph just now.

Ahh, I looked at the Azores but couldn’t make it work. In my office you have to get in quick booking leave or the best dates are gone. So I booked a few days in June, a week late July to August and two in September. Luckily Warsaw fits in, but the Azores is too expensive and messy. It needs two weeks really and we don’t like leaving the dogs that long. September might be Portugal or Croatia, and I still have another three weeks!

Azores is my present to myself for my 70th. It may be cheaper/easier from Portugal but I haven’t got to grips with it yet. 🙂 Happy Friday!

Happy coffee and biscuit preparation – I’m off to make my own and settle down to Becky’s pick of squares.

You need to get the house ready for sale and get that sorted. Declutter. Start packing. Or get rid of it all and start afresh.

Can’t I just buy myself tulips for Mother’s Day, and cashews, and eat them self indulgently? (not the tulips 🙂 )

No. Don’t eat the tulips! Anyway, it’s not MD until Sunday. You going to Leeds then and letting the young gun cook you dinner?

The jury’s out on that one. Lauren is going to Doncaster to see her Mum and he’s not sure if he’s going with. Sorry- already eaten half the nuts. Cranberries too! Healthy 🙂 I thought you were going out? Sun’s out here and Mick has a job in Durham but I’m not sure I’m going.
