Six word Saturday

I’m starting to see squares everywhere!

From dusk till dawn.  All part of life’s rich pattern.  Have you joined in with Becky’s Square Sky in December yet?  There’s still time.  Maybe you could combine it with Six Words?  Debbie won’t mind.  Happy Saturday, whatever you get up to!

    1. Are you a nervous flyer or do you just like the leg room, Dina? I can never understand how people can sit with their eyes shut. I’m a bit scared of flying- what sensible person isn’t when you think about it? But I’m always fascinated by the miracle of flight. 🙂 🙂 And thank you so much!

      1. No, I’m not a nervous flyer, Jo, I love it.
I just like to have more room for my leg and I prefere the aisle so that I can grab my photo gear + my bag and get out of the plan as soon as possible. There’s always a connecting bus to catch and it takes ages to get out of ig I have a window seat. Hope you had a good start to your week❣️🌿❤️

      1. All is well with us now, Jo, but of course we’re always waiting for the other shoe to drop, which we know is only a matter of time. Both of us are just trying to let go and let our kids work out their own problems. We’re always trying to solve things for them or to fix them, and we just have to stop. It doesn’t work!

I took a relaxing and fun trip to Cape May, NJ this week. It was so much fun to get away by myself, even though it was freezing cold and blustery. My fingers, toes and cheeks were stinging! One more week till Christmas. I wish you, Mick and your family a good one. Thanks so much for your card. I never get around to sending cards these days. You’re so organized! 🙂

      2. You’re very welcome. I was going through the address book sending cards to the Polish family and there you were! 🙂 🙂 I’d quite like a trip out this week. There’s nothing much happening till Friday and I fancy the Christmas market at York. We’ll see. Look after yourself, Cathy. I’ll get round to a proper email one of these days. 🙂 Have a great Christmas!

      3. Aww, it was very sweet. Thanks for the Christmas wishes! We’re going to Nashville from Dec 27-31. Sadly, it takes about 10 hours to drive, so two of those days will be spent in the car. But I love a road trip! I just hope it doesn’t snow, because a road trip in snow is not good. 🙂

      4. You are lucky! We’ve been invited to the Norfolk Polish family for New Year. It’s a 5 hour drive and Mick doesn’t want to do it. I can’t really argue because I can’t drive 😦

      5. That sounds nice, Jo. A five hour drive isn’t too bad. That’s normal for us here in the US. We’ll be driving back on New Year’s Eve and we’re not much on staying up and celebrating the New Year! I just like to wake up at a normal time and start the year fresh.

      6. I broached the subject again this morning and got the long face. It’s not worth making him miserable over but I’d love to see Grazyna agian and we’re promised fireworks in Cromer on New Years Day. Public transport isn’t an option. 😦

  1. Of course I love the Tavira shot and the plane window ones, but where is the pretty window? I love seeing everyone’s square skies, wish I’d had time to join in, but heyho maybe next year. Hope you have a lovely Sunday honey and that all is cosy and bright x:-)x

    1. I was going to ask Becky to identify it, but she’s much too busy right now. It’s the palace at Estoi and I will be taking you there, along with my lovely Lisa, sometime or other. 🙂 🙂 The lazy one is still abed and I’m constructing tomorrow’s walk, beside the Christmas tree. What are you up to? Hugs, sweetheart! Busy, I know!

  2. I love it when the world is reduced to squares – or lines – or whatever tickles the imagination of the moment. Currently my life is reduced to “5 minutes with a …” Yours is a lovely collection of diverse squares. I hope the weekend has been a glorious precursor to a glorious week. Hugs attached to jingle bells.

(I seem to have disappeared from Reader. You might want to have a look at the 5th birthday post for the twins, by other means.)

    1. Oh no! The reader is looking a bit sparse at the minute and I assumed it was that people are busy. Do you have family staying yet? I’ll pop over in a minute or two 🙂 🙂
