Seven on Saturday, or just six?
The last one’s a bit of a tease but I know you like cake! I glean my flower shots from all sorts of places- our own garden, the odd bouquet, and often from Open Gardens on a Sunday afternoon. One Sunday there was a raffle for the cake above. I didn’t win, but I got the shot.
The current extravaganza of flowers is Becky’s fault. She started me off with Square in September, I responded with 7 , and now I can’t seem to stop! Join in, if you like, but don’t forget to share six words with Debbie. And have a great weekend!
We have no flowers in our garden at the moment. I’ve pruned the roses, the jonquils are finished and I have an orchid in bud. So this wonderful bouquet will keep me going now. Thanks, Jo! I do love the cake. What a shame you didn’t win. We could all have popped over for a slice with a cup of tea. 🙂 (I tell a lie! Mr ET has beautiful ranunculas flowering in his little garden out the front.)

oh, I do like ranunculas! They have lovely ones in the gardens in Tavira. Our roses are having a second lease of life. 🙂 🙂

My roses are just starting to get lots of new spring growth, so they should be beautiful in a few weeks.

The cake looks amazing, Jo. It makes me want to taste 😉
What kind of flower is the second one? I love how it danced in the wind. So pretty!
Have a wonderful day!

What a brilliant cake, probably too sweet for me though. Some gorgeous shots here sweetheart, especially the frilly poppy, that’s one to be proud of. Is all well with you? sorry for being so absent, can’t seem to catch up with myself. Today’s my first day of holidays and I’ve been very lazy as I’m really shattered – need to gather some energy for next week. Hugs darling xx

Love the cake, I quite fancy a slice right now. Blustery but mostly dry here today but we have some noisy boys next door at the moment, I’m surprised you can’t hear them!!

That noisy??? Not your family then! They arrive soonish? Only trouble is I’ve no idea where these 7 take me to. I may have to resign from this challenge. Retire gracefully, or something 🙂

You must be at day 14, so still some way to go. As for retiring gracefully, are you sure you can do that? 😉 😉

Love the flowers, the first shot is my favourite. Love the cake too, it looks so nice it would be a shame to cut it. My mum used to make and decorate cakes for all occasions and she did some beautiful ones over the years – she would have loved to see the photo of this one. 🙂

I’m hopeless at anything practical, Eunice, so I just gaze in wonder at extravaganzas like this. And no, I’d hate to cut it too. 🙂 🙂 Thanks for your company. Have a great weekend!

Great six word post Jo. I like the flowers and think I’d love the cake! I admire such decoration (I’m only capable of eating it not decorating it!)
