A little night music in Florence
Did I enjoy it? What do you think? Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, even if you can’t be in Firenze. Share six words?

Your night photos turned out great, but sadly we don’t get to hear the story because of the “six word” restriction! I want to know where you went and what music you heard. 🙂
That was our first evening and i was gob-smacked by the Duomo. We found a lovely little restaurant and i sang all the way back to the hotel afterwards. 🙂 🙂
I bet you did! Fabulous. 🙂
You’re good at night photography!
Some work better than others. Just looking back gives me goose bumps, Gilly! You will have the best time! 🙂 🙂 Hugs, darlin!
Your photos are beautiful. I’m surprised that the streets seem almost quiet. I’ve never been to Florence, but I always picture it mobbed with tourists.
Thanks, Julie! There were plenty of people about but certainly not crowds unless you went looking for them. The benefits of off season travel. I’m very jealous of who I share Florence with 🙂 🙂
WOOoOOooow!!!! Vivi-style of gallery – LOOOOOOOOOOOve! Last image my pick!!! Great shot, Girlfriend.
You’re supposed to be asleep! 🙂 🙂 But thank you! Mine too 🙂
Going to my bed .. it’s screaming my name just not. *smile
This brought back memories. I loved Florence best when I was in Italy. 🙂
The setting of the place, with that mountain backdrop, seduced me from the word go, Marsha. What a city! 🙂 🙂
I loved the museums and the buildings. I remember seeing one door that took a man 50 years to carve. Can you imagine working on a door for 50 years. Such patience! 🙂 The art work in the scientific instruments also captivated me. 🙂
The intimate and the grand of Florence captured brilliantly in your 6WS! 😀 Want to go back there soon!
I can’t say I blame you, Annika 🙂 And thank you very much!
Florenz strahlt halt eine besondere Ambiente aus…
It’s such a beautiful place, Ernst! You would love it 🙂
Annalisa
Grazie mille, Annalisa! I don’t have time to visit you right now. Seriously behind with my Monday walk 😦 I just wanted to tell you I saw Ilaria in Lucca 🙂 🙂
avrai visto quanto è bella! sguardarlae Firenze per tuo dire è la città più bella al mondo ( io però ci metto anche Venezia ! )Ilaria è senz’altro la più bella statua di donna al mondo! non sai quanto tempo passo ad ammirarla!
Did you eat at Eataly? We went to one in Dubai and had a very good pizza.
No. We were starved and found a lovely little spot very near the hotel, Richard (where my first photo is taken 🙂 ). This was when we were strolling after the Duomo.
Beautiful photos, brought back some great memories. Thank you Jo x
I love being transported back through the photos, Gilda. I can relive every moment 🙂 Glad you can too. Happy Sunday!
This brought back some memories. Would love to go back there again. Thanks for sharing.
It’s a wonderful city, isn’t it? When were you there, Suzy? 🙂
I love the look of Florence through your eyes Jo! What are those delicious looking chocolate things (I may just be drooling right now) 😉
Michael always picks the best desserts! 🙂 Sort of a chocolate fudgey thing, he said, but I wasn’t allowed to taste 😦
Jo what gorgeous night photos! Thinking of you in Florence and hoping you are having a marvelous time. It certainly looks that way.
Sometimes, when you’ve waited forever to see somewhere, you worry that it might disappoint, Sue. It didn’t! 🙂 🙂 🙂
