Radiant is my favourite photo in a long time Jo, the light is dazzling, you should get it framed and on your wall! How’s your week been, busy? It doesn’t seem like I’ve seen you much, but I’ve only popped in quickly myself I suppose x:-)x
Thanks for that, Gilly! I like it a lot too, but I think it’s just the memory of the moment.
A nice enough week, hon, but we still have lots of angst over James and his job situation. I should email you but I’m tired of thinking/worrying over it. He’s home later tonight and a job interview arranged for Monday. How about you? Still feeling good and the dietary situation working out ok? 🙂
I’ve been planning to email you too, but have been overwhelmed. This is my first evening home since Monday and I had an ultrasound this afternoon – I’m fine, NAD in my kidneys! Okay I WILL email you this weekend x:-)x
I’m craving that apple tart. And what’s it with the bikes? Anyway nice shots one and all. Ms Wifi playing up today, so I haven’t been on the computer much. Blame it on the wind – blowing a hooley outside at the moment and I am fearful for my roof! Last night we had out first blackout as the power went off for three hours. Luckily we have a fire to keep us warm! Hope it is OK where you are, I suspect we are going to catch the worst of the storm.
Yes, I think it’s mostly west coast, Jude. It’s just a little bit windy here (so far 🙂 ), nothing more. I did wonder if you were having WiFi issues. Even reading a book by candlelight is hard work, isn’t it? 😦
You don’t like the bikes? They were a little incongruous. A young couple in leathers asked if we’d take their photo with the bikes and I couldn’t resist getting a shot for myself too. It was very good tart! 🙂 🙂
All down to Paula’s prompts and what I had that I hadn’t used from the last trip, Sue 🙂 My files are in chaos since I switched to this laptop. I have older stuff on ‘the cloud’, wherever that may be. I might never see them again 😦 Woe is me 🙂 🙂
Never suppress an impulse like this Jo 😉 really brightened up the afternoon here looking at your pictures . Ahhh *sigh .. a lovely lovely dazzly ocean … and I do like the lumpy bumpy mountain view !
Just back a week now Jo … and in theory yes lol .. as usual I’m a slow tortoise with such things . If I don’t hurry up we’ ll soon be elsewhere. EasyJet has a lot to answer for 😉 I’ll try my best Jo I know you like an ocean view or two ….
Jo, your radiant is breathtaking, and that pavement … I love pavements in Portugal – will feature one this coming Sunday. Thank you for thinking of me and joining this wordy challenge 🙂
Amazing shots all round, Jo. Love the view of the water and from the top of the mountains. And that looks like a slice of heavenly sweet treat. Wouldn’t have fault you at all if you went back for a second or third slice… 🙂
I did a swift trawl through the Algarve shots from the last visit looking for ones I hadn’t used, Debs. It’s such a lovely place. Never hard to find nice shots. 🙂

Such beauty and serenity, Jo. Just what I needed on a very stressful Thursday morning – so wish I was walking on that beach!

Sorry about the stress, Annika. It’s just rather grey and damp here, though I’m feeling quite fortunate as there are storms forecast. 🙂
