Six word Saturday

This is the final part of my 3 Days, 3 Quotes challenge and I’d like to say a big thank you to The Happy Traveler for my nomination.  If you’ve enjoyed it and would like to join in, please feel free to do so.  And now for my six words…

Where does your heart lead you?

Inevitable that it should be the Algarve, don’t you think?  But maybe not so inevitable that it should lead to the Weekly Photo Challenge?

Hope you have a happy Saturday and a great weekend!  Don’t forget to call in on Cate.   See you on Monday for another walk?

  1. Ahh…life is full of wonderful surprises isn’t it? Love it when the Weekly Photo Challenge gives us just the right prompt… and I would have been more than surprised if you hadn’t given us these gorgeous photos of the Algarve after your six word question Jo 😉 Had to be, just had to be…and so gorgeous as always…and another wonderful quote ❤

    1. I quite enjoyed myself with these quotes, Sherri 🙂 And it gave me the opportunity to use up a few random photos that I liked. What’s not to like? Hugs, darlin’. Thank you for spending so much of your valuable time with me.

      1. No, Jo, I haven’t posted anything lately! I don’t know why; I seem to be stuck. I still have much to post from Myanmar, and now from Philadelphia, plus some other things I want to write. I spent three hours on Thursday rewriting my query letter for my novel only to have it revert back to almost its original content! At least I did manage to send it to another agent. I want to keep working on that, not attending real estate broker meetings when my intention is not to join them anyway!! I need to learn to say no!! 🙂

  2. Oh that question hit me… “Where does your heart lead you”. Just last evening I was thinking of heading out on a one month trip to where the heart wants to go. If only work permitted…

    1. 13th April just for a short visit, Pauline, because then I’m off to Poland with Dad for his yearly visit. Soon be here and I’m looking forward to having my daughter home at Easter first. It’s ages since she’s been up here. 🙂 Have a happy week, hon!

  3. Inevitable that this is where your heart should lead you. I think you’ll find you have linked to a daily prompt and not the photo challenge, but hey what does that matter, I suspect that Tavira is a place of harmony for you anyway. Hope you are having a good weekend. I’m relaxing. So tired! Will start again on Monday. And try to get another walk finished tomorrow for you 🙂

    1. Hiya sweetheart 🙂 🙂 I did think that link was a little strange! I copied it from Mirth and Motivation’s post quite late on Friday. Serves me right for being a clever clogs 🙂 In so far as I can ever be a harmonious person, yes it is, Jude. 🙂 Busy weekend, with heaps of laundry, etc. I was fed pad thai last night to keep my strength up and early Mother’s Day treat. Chocolates today! Will save you one 🙂 Mick has taped the boy’s car back together most inelegantly, but it will do the job while he’s waiting to get it assessed/fixed. ‘Walk’ when you can, hon- no worries. Sending Sunday hugs!

      1. You should NOT be doing laundry today. I forbid it! And yes, please save me a chocolate, it appears that no-one bought me any 😦
(but I do have a very sweet little cherry tree for the new garden)

    2. Too late! I’ve just finished the ironing. Just got to pack for him and I’ll be almost done. Choccies not opened yet but imminent. Still full from lunch. Do you have a favourite in Thornton’s Continentals? 🙂 Awwh, a cherry tree- that’s sweet!

      1. in ancient mythology the cherry tree symbolises good fortune and future happiness

she obviously thought a lot about it. And I’m not fussy about the choccie as long as it isn’t coconut. Thank you.

      2. Lovely idea! 🙂 I like the Alpini best. Oh, dear- I just looked in the box. James ate the last one 😦 He’s just set off back for Leeds. If he’s not full now he never will be 🙂

  4. I am sitting here with a big smile. We live in our blue house and my kitchen is painted blue (white cabinets). I was looking for a back-splash behind the stove and I was thinking about tiles, but couldn’t make up my mind. Now, after looking at the tile pictures of the fisherman, I know what I want…I just have to find something similar.

Great pictures…I am ready for vacation.

  5. “.. go all with your heart”, what a great quote to share, Jo! I love your photos of Algarve, such a beautiful place via your lens. Happy weekend! 🙂

  6. There are so many beautiful places to visit & experience. I hope to see many more n the years to come but when it comes to my happy place, it is surrounded by my family at home. Cheers my friend, have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Thanks, Lynn. 🙂 One of the joys of the Algarve for me is that I have a lovely circle of friends there, and I can take my family with me. (If they’re good! 🙂 ) Happy weekend to you, sweetheart!

  7. I don’t believe this! That quote is my tag on my new 12monthsinwarsaw blog! Three great minds – yours, mine and Confucius! I love the quirky way you follow a lead and that first photo is wonderful – perfectly composed. Not that the others aren’t!

    1. Ah-ha! You’ve got the blog sorted! Anything on there yet? 🙂 It’s a funny old life, isn’t it? I seldom look at quotes because there are so many and some are so trite! But there’s a world of wisdom out there and who am I to argue with you and Confucious? 🙂 🙂

      1. Oh heck! You’ve nearly gone! I’m missing you already… but looking forward to having you settled in your new home. I’m expecting regular Polish lessons, you know 🙂
