Let it snow! Let it snow!

Especially on a Christmas chalet!

Or a trendy Christmas tree

The tree ornaments would like some too

And Santa, naturally!

Not to mention the Gingerbread Men

Aren’t these modern ornaments smart?

Nice for the trendier home!

But this is the one that won my heart

Is there any more to say?
I’ve resisted turning on the WordPress snow till now, but why resist any longer? I think it’s definitely coming! I’d better start shopping.
Have a merry weekend, then wrap up warm for my walk on Monday. I wonder if Cate’s done all her shopping yet? Visit her on Six word Saturday to find out.

Hi Jo,
As I really enjoy bicycling, my favourite is, of course, santa riding the bike.
Have a great weekend,

I’m fine with the ‘just looking’, Colline. Trouble is, I’m going to have to get ‘in the thick of it’ eventually 😦

I’ve just set up my Christmas tree today, so Christmas is finally on the way…As for snow, we had the air-con on and the Christmas carols in the background while decorating the tree.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year Joanne.

It must be quite strange to have a picnic on the beach on Christmas Day, Sami, but I’m game to try it 🙂 (preferably not in Hartlepool) Hope you and the family have the best of times!

Noooo, NOT the WP snow! I find it makes it harder for me to read the posts. My eyesight is crap, and the snow makes it worse 😦

I was thinking it was time they updated them to something a bit more razzamatazz! Sorry- some folks have no consideration for others, do they? 🙂

Best not… bound to trigger epileptic seizures… that would be even worse than snowblindness 😦

Once, in a confectionery shop in Antwerp, two exquisite pralines were dissolved in the preparation of my cup of hot chocolate. This was the only time chocolate got the chance to melt in my presence. And it was totally worth it 🙂

I will let you keep the WordPress snow. 🙂 There should be a special non-snowy page for those of us who live in non-snowy regions, don’t you think? Sun sparkles, perhaps.

You can turn it off, Ann, but you’re right- there should be ‘sun drops’ for you folks down under. I’ll get on to WP straight away! 🙂

Thanks Jo, for sharing the festivities with me here in China. I don’t see much in the way of decorations for Christmas around here, so it’s nice to see them vicariously through your blog. By the way I just emailed you my address, in both Chinese and English. Hope you got it.
I’m still not seeing the snow on your blog. Did you turn it on? It might just be delayed on my end as my internet is very slow.
By the way, how can I add my five hour walk through the rice terraces to your Monday walk (on the 8th?) I’m not really sure how one participates. 🙂

Yes, thanks darlin’. I got your email 🙂 The snow does come through quite slowly Cathy, so you may have to linger a bit. I thought they’d have had a super-duper razzamatazz version this year.
5 hours! I’ll be worn out!!! Seriously though- you can put a link in to me or use the logo in your post, but if you don’t want to do that just put your link in my comments. You can put it on my Jo’s Monday walk page or the last walk I did. Doesn’t matter which. If you want it to go on next Monday’s walk I need it by Sunday evening. I haven’t started writing yet but I know where I’m taking you 🙂

It’s funny, Jo, but it seems that each day I look at the snow on my blog, it’s speeding up. It’s going to be a blizzard by Christmas and my blog may be buried under. So if I want my walk to appear in your Monday post, can I put the link here in the comments to this post? I’m a little confused, sorry!!

I just see that you’ve put people’s links directly into your post, so I’m not sure how that happens except by sending it to you ahead of time. Hope you’re having a great weekend. 🙂

That’s exactly how it happens, Cathy 🙂 I’ll add your link now. I’m just getting the post going, in the middle of some beautiful woods. See you soon! 🙂

That’s a little bizarre, Elaine? Sorry about that! Last week I put a link in for someone new to 6WS, who didn’t know how to, so maybe that caused it. I had to change my identity to do it. 😦 I’ll go over and check. I noticed Jim and a couple of others commented there too but it’s different if you don’t use WP, isn’t it? Happy shopping! 🙂
