I love a bit of drama, and I rather think Paula does too, so I thought I’d post a couple of night time/evening shots from my recent Algarve visit. Every day is special in its own way, isn’t it?
I hope your Thursday is special too. You have the power to make it so. Paula thinks every Thursday’s Special. Visit her to see why.

Really love the pictures most the one with the water as a mirror , congrats

What a beautiful time of evening and you caught it perfectly.
Between the dusk and the day, when the daylight is beginning to lower.
Comes a time in the days occupation and it is known as the happy hour.
In camp grounds around around Aussie that is.
I heard those words on the children’s radio program when I was a boy.
But the last line was children’s hour.

I finally just got to visit your Santa Luzia post, and it brought back wonderful memories, Jo. Thanks for linking to my walk, boring as it was in comparison. I just wish we had gotten off that boat and walked around while I was there, but we were really short on time, weren’t we? I hope you have a great visit with Lisa. 🙂

I could just do with being there now, rather than in a rapidly cooling down south of England evening. 🙂

Glad you like it, Kate. It’s a semi-abandoned water feature in one of the side streets heading into town. I love taking shots of it when it’s lit up too, but this one worked rather well. Many thanks 🙂

I agree with Sue, those two photos have the most beautiful light and soft colours. A glass of wine overlooking that scene would be just about perfect.

We don’t, Jude. I do know of a very lovely hotel though. I don’t normally do hotel reviews but I’m putting one up next week. 🙂

Lovely night shots, Jo. I especially love the shadows on the wall, and the reflections in those gorgeous windows.
My Thursday was special: the lawn mower started and stayed started till I’d mowed the lawn. Jude is planning a visit perhaps. And then I visited friends busy shaping their extensive garden. I hope you too had a special day.
