Thursday : Lingering look at Windows- week 47

Who lives in a house like this?

I guess it’s about time to post my last sequence of windows from Barcelona. Life is moving forward at quite a pace.  At this rate I’ll soon be looking back at 2013! Anyone for a last wander in those Barcelona streets? Just click on a photo.

I can’t leave without one last salute to Gaudi.  He gave me so much pleasure with his beautiful houses, Casa Batllo and Casa Mila.

And in Casa Mila, the romance of a curtained window

And in Casa Mila, curtains rustle romantically at the window

I’m joining Dawn again this week in her Lingering look at Windows.  Why not come and play?  Soon it will be Christmas windows!  Just click on the link.

    1. Thanks, Elisa. That’s a lovely thing to say 🙂 Funny thing is, in many respects I’m quite a loner and happy in my own company. But when it comes to sharing the adventure afterwards, that’s a whole different ballgame. I love it!

    1. Before I went, I was a little nervous that it wouldn’t live up to its own reputation, Divya, but it completely did! It’s a fabulous city and I so enjoyed taking my photos there. Many thanks for your time and support. 🙂

  1. Another great trip down memory lane, Jo. Oh how I miss Barcelona! Beautiful pictures in this batch. I especially love the rustling curtains and the romance of stained glass. And who could not love Casa Batllo? 🙂

    1. Fabulous memories to relive, Michelle. (I still haven’t forgotten about the awards, but Christmas has just pushed its way on to the agenda. At some point, I’ll have LOADS of time, honest 🙂 )

      1. That’s fine Jo. I happen to know the feeling. I still have a few I’ve yet to accept that you would call long overdue as well. We all get so busy this time of the year.

    1. Beautiful beautiful buildings – thank you so much for sharing these images Jo. I love Gaudi’s houses, how romantic are those curtains! And what stunning stained glass. It’s no good I am going to have to go there.
