Whiter than white- the theme continues.

Will I ever tire of seeing this frock?
Lisa tells me that she’s worn it three times so far, including once at Carnival in Venice. That’s not bad going for a wedding dress, is it? I’ve been dusting off a few white memories myself.

- How lovely is this dahlia? It’s a huge bloom!
- If you click on a photo below it will start the gallery rolling.

Can anything beat a rose for loveliness- even a fading one? (like my memories)
I’ve become a person of few words on Saturdays. Have you noticed? My husband loves the peace and quiet, but more than that, it seems to fit better with Cate’s challenge. Thanks for indulging me.

🙂 Hi Jo ~~ Neat the people can still fit into their wedding clothes. My first wedding I wore blue jeans, the bride wore school clothes (we skipped school) so long gone. The second Mrs. Jim has and it fits but it tight. Mine there is long gone also but I have a picture.
My favorite white is your caberello (he is dressed handsomely, I can’t tell from his profile about him), the second is the Snoopy plush toy.
..
Sorry mine is long. I do double duty with the memes and my travels and doings so they are a longer.

Lovely whites, that dahlia is stunning and of course Lisa’s dress is something very special. I hope we don’t get too much of the white stuff this winter…

I had to cover my eyes (and ears) when I saw the forecast yesterday, Lorna! Worst winter in a decade- snow from next month 😦

No! Surely that can’t be right? We had 5 months of snow in 2010 and I can’t face that again.

That is such a wonderful wedding dress – she is very clever. I like all your images, but Snoopy caught my attention first. 😉

I knew you’d like that one, Elaine 🙂 I’m using the cartoon of Snoop and Woodstock with marshmallows round the campfire as background on my laptop. It makes me smile every time I see it.

A post beaming with pure delight. White is my mom’s favorite color from shoes to bags to umbrellas. It means pureness, simplicity, cleanliness. Wonderful images my friend.

That’s an amazing hat on that horse. I guess he won’t get his nose sunburnt will he? Lovely dress too. I bet that would have taken some making…just beautiful.

She made the frock herself, Lindy… and the cake, bouquets and the groom’s frockcoat! A one-woman wedding 🙂 Hope your weekend’s sunnier than ours.

That would have been a feat and a half. My congratulations to them. That’s what I call sewing. Re our weather mostly sunny and hot although we did have some drizzle this morning. We’d love soaking rain. Have a great weekend Jo.

Where is something very magical about color, white … that dress is so stunning beautiful and it’s fantastic that she use it so often she can. I have never understood the idea of having a bridal gown hanging in a plastic bag and never used again. Love your gallery. Love the winter shot, soon we are there. I like white winters.

I still have my wedding frock (after 24 years!) sitting in the wardrobe. I always thought I would wear it again as it’s handkerchief points edging and not totally “weddingy”- but so far I haven’t. Maybe next year? 🙂

il bianco è un colore che amo, tutti i fiori bianchi, moltissimo, però il particolare che qui scelgo è quella casa deliziosa che non so dove sia perché l’amica Giovanna non vuole parlare 🙂
wow Joan Lady of few words ha ha ha (but only on Saturday, ok, to make happy hubby)
White is a color that I love, all white flowers, very much, though the particular that here I choose is the delightful House that I don’t know where it is because her friend Joanna doesn’t want to talk:-)
