Holiday over and back to “normal”.
Except it isn’t really normal at all! I can’t remember the last time we had a whole July’s worth of sunshine. No complaints, then.
But I can’t seem to shake the Algarve completely out of my head. Maybe if I post another photo or two?
That’s me done dreaming for this week. Feet firmly back on the ground tomorrow? Meantime I need to thank Cate at Show My Face for her unending patience in hosting this challenge. The link or the header will take you there.
How was your week? Put it in six words and join in? The button below takes you to all my previous Six word saturdays. (yes, all of them!)

Stunning shots from a beautiful holiday Jo! Thanks for sharing. 😀 *hugs*

Thanks, Mlissabeth. It was a lovely holiday and about my 3rd or 4th post about it. I do get carried away sometimes. 🙂

It sounds like you had a really good time, Jo. Did you run over to Seville?
We are really having a good time in London. Tomorrow we have reservations to Buckingham Palace (Mrs. Jim’s already been there once) and Tues and Wed will are seeing our friends, non-blogging, who live in Northampton. You can scroll down to see what we’ve been doing, part of it. We have been here three weeks and aren’t nearly ready to go home.
We love all the U.K!!!

Hiya Jim!
I forgot you were here. I’ve been out walking my legs off this afternoon, by the River Tees. Sunny too 🙂
Seville is way too hot at this time of year, Jim, but I had a blogging friend, Cathy, staying for a couple of days and we did take her out and about. Here’s the link:

Buckingham Palace is superb. I really enjoyed my visit there with my lady friends a couple of years ago. Enjoy the rest of your stay 🙂

I enjoyed it a lot, Jo. You two were have fun, a LOT of fun. And you are a good host.
Today we visited with SoulBrush (generally here on 6WS but it will be late if she makes it today) at her booth in Spitalfields at the Old Market selling her pictures. We had a good visit, the three of us-Mrs. Jim, KP, and I, and got to meet her husband as well.

That sounds great, Jim. Something to bear in mind next time I’m in London. I don’t get there very often. I haven’t been to 6WS yet today other than yours, so I may still see her on there. Thanks for the tip.
By the way, I can’t use the Black Cat. Shame! I get a message asking me to configure it when I put it in my widgets??? Beyond my know-how! 🙂

The mountain of ironing seems to get higher, but it’s nothing to do with the holiday. Just that our son’s home for the weekend. 🙂

Thanks, Viveka. That evening we were so warm and tired and could hardly be bothered to walk into town. Cathy had left that morning and we spent the afternoon on the island of Armona. We both would have liked to just curl up, but I knew the procession was on and just had to see it. The priest has the loveliest voice and we all gather outside listening to the service amplified before the procession. It was worth it. 🙂

You really manage to make me feel that warm evening through my PC screen … I love those warm Mediterranean evenings and the smell in the air from cooking, especially the garlic … and the sea.
You brought the magic to me too.
