Enjoying the lull.
Ready for fireworks?

Not a lot going on this week

A Hartlepool sunrise

A little more rain

A walk round Durham, the river brim full

Popped into the new T.I., to avoid another shower

It’s dark early

Soon be time to take the tree down
Peaceful, huh? Hope you enjoyed my Six word Saturday, and that your New Year celebrations are as raucous as you want them to be. See you next year.

Hi, Jo. Durham is lovely in the changing weather. I am also enjoying the respite. We are going to try to blow up our Christmas tree with fireworks.

I have an upside-down lamp post in a puddle shot that I’m quite partial to as well, Paula. Could be something to do with the weather. I go out in my frogman suit these days (don’t I love to exaggerate!)
Thanks! Hope 2013 is a good year for you too.

Great pictures! I love sunrises. I hope you are not in the flood zone that we have heard about on the news.

It’s everywhere, currently, and still raining! We had the foresight to buy a house on a hill, Judy, so don’t do too badly. (except when I have to carry the shopping up the bank) Thanks for your kind concern.

Wonderful photos! As a first-time visitor, I enjoy travel posts!
Here’s an oddity that caught me eye – “Fireworks” in the six words. Well, just because I just saw a report about an event in Spain involving eggs, flours, and fireworks/firecrackers. Who eve came up with that one!
Thanks for visiting my site as well!

Thanks, Andrew. I’ve also got one of an upsidedown lamp post in a puddle. I meant to use them in a challenge but never got round to it.
Happy New Year to you too.

Lovely sunrise photos. We had a small glimmer of a nice sunrise this morning – makes such a nice change from all the dark rainy mornings we’ve been having.

This one’s from last weekend when it was crisp and frosty, Elaine. Not the damp and dreary stuff we seem to be stuck with currently.

Actually I was up at 5, which is a tad ridiculous. James was in the kitchen pinging a lasagne in the microwave, and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Never mind- got lots to do. The very best of New Years to you and Dave, Aly.

That Hartlepool sunrise is beautiful. I’m not a durham fan, I’ve probably said that before!
My new year will probably be as peaceful as my Christmas (hopefully).
