Six word Saturday

The ephemeral nature of my garden

It’s not a garden, but a simple patio to play and entertain in, and it gives me lots of joy. Many thanks to Amy for prompting me to share it, and to long suffering Debbie for letting Six Words flourish. And a happy weekend to you all!

    1. Thank you! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ My daughter has the very opposite- a Goth garden full of black tulips and plummy foliage. Ideal for Jude’s purple πŸ™‚

  1. There’s a lot to be said for a garden of pots on a patio, and being able to move them around as the fancy takes. This looks lovely and the hibiscus makes a great star.

    1. Some of them need more shade than others, Graham, and it’s helpful to be able to move them around πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ I do love sitting there smiling at them all.

    1. Last year we only had one, Carol, but there are 8 on there now, and one almost ripe. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ We thought lemons were easy to grow, but that’s not proving to be the case with ours.

      1. I can see why. Our patio faces east so it’s too hot most mornings but in the afternoon and evening it’s a lovely place to sit and relax looking at the flowers and cacti, watching birds, etc.
