A very special person had a significant birthday this week. I know my daughter celebrated in style and, in our more modest fashion, we paid homage to Valentine’s day. Cake is for sharing, isn’t it? And who better to share with than lovely Su.

They came in a pretty box with a pot of jam and home made cream. A little more might have been good but I have to be very careful with the milk out here so it was probably just as well. Got cheese scones and sweet chilli jam ordered for this weekend. Much more my thing! 🙂

I know they dressed up and ordered in some very nice food, Lynn. In the circumstances… best of a bad job! But the cake was pronounced wonderful. I’m hoping she’s frozen me a tiny portion for whenever 🙂 🙂
