A superior kind of living space

Some of you asked to see inside. I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s a bit special. Tomorrow, up on the roof! Happy weekend!

Blue and white! My favourite colour combo.

I love the lightness of the air and colors. A regal place. Not a bad place to spend time. 🙂

The stairwell took my breath away, Graham. Some things you just aren’t prepared for 🙂 🙂

Certainly quite something. You have UP in superior so all you require is to add the link. I doubled up myself. 🙂

The stairwell is magnificent, Cee, but I don’t actually have many indoor shots. A lot of highly polished wood and art deco fanlights. I looked at Mick’s photos too and he has none at all. 😦 😦

Another lovely couple of photographs showing Gaudi’s work. You really have excelled yourself on this trip, Jo. Looking forward to further interior shots. Were these slides? The sharpness is really good.

I have no idea what camera I was using then, Mari, but possibly a relative of my current Canon Ixus. I just use the software on my laptop to sharpen it where necessary. Sadly I have very little indoors at Batlló, more at Casa Mila, but not so dramatic. 🙂 🙂

Thanks for your long string of Gaudi. Never enough .. simply never enough.

Glad you approve, Frank. Hopefully not getting tiresome. Soon we’ll have a change 🙂 🙂

We visited with a friend who is a very keen photographer and he was poking his lens at everything and then showing us the results. Kim tricked him by taking pictures of postcards in the gift shop and then showing him and asking if he had seen this or that. He never really worked out how he missed photographic gems.

I was just about to ask that very question — to see inside.
I’ve never been first. Always come in last. ;(

It’s just a small peep. There’s lots to see but not enough square days 😉💕💕

This was never a house designed to be lived in was it. Always seemed to have long queues outside whenever we passed.

No, I don’t suppose so for a minute, but great location for a townhouse, and the rooftop views! Perhaps we were lucky that November. We didn’t cue long, if I remember rightly 🙂 🙂

No. We only had a couple of days and there is a lot to see as you know. One can have too much of Gaudi 😁

Not of your photos, but there is some fab architecture in Barca that is not Gaudi. 🥱

If that’s a hint, I know. Getting there, but I can’t possibly feature all of it! Not enough days in January. Will introduce my other favourite next week, but I am a huge Gaudi fan 🙂 🙂

We’ve still never gone inside. It’s too easy not to when you have a permanent entry ticket to Barcelona, and can say ‘ It may be less crowded tomorrow. And before you ask. No news yet.

Sad face! I rather think when you go back there won’t be crowds but your focus will be elsewhere. 🙂 🙂

Not sure. I haven’t got my show and tell and afternoons are the best times to get out for our walk because we have sun around the house on a morning. Will try and pop in 🙂 🙂
