Truly I think that description belongs to La Sagrada Familia, but Gaudi’s genius is displayed all over Barcelona. Parc Guell is one of my favourites. Well worth Six Words! Wishing you a happy Saturday!
Barcelona has always been high on my list. As a tourist town, it could probably “use” a Covid-19 to make it less popular, as I know the locals had been complaining about the mobs of visitors. Once places slowly open up, it might be the perfect time to visit, if you’re already in Europe…
I was there for 5 days for a birthday 6 years ago, Liesbet. November so it wasn’t too busy. I really loved it and we walked our socks off. Doubt we’ll ever go back 🙂 🙂
We explored this place but any pictures I took didn’t have the life and joy you’ve captured here. The patterns are fascinating and the lighting, beautiful.
There’s a great little video I shared with Mari. I might have been tempted to add it to the post if I’d seen it earlier. Possibly at the end of this series 🙂 🙂
Ah! I wondered how you’d squeeze Gaudi into your 6-Word Saturday Post and the caption is both apt and fitting the bill. A day spent with Gaudi just now would cheer one up I think, all that colour and exuberance, love of life and living.
Sometimes when he has cold it hangs around and he gets rid of it by being thoroughly sick. That’s what I hoped last night, but it seemed prolonged and I didn’t know if it was my home cooking 😦 Fortunately he’s a lot brighter today. A bit like the weather, and he has actually suggested a bit of a stroll… in a little while 🙂 🙂 Thanks for asking!
Very good
