I do love bougainvillea. I spotted this one peeping through a fence and thought it would be perfect for Cee’s Flower of the Day.

I really don’t think I’ve ever seen yellow bougainvillea! I love this flower, too, although here they seem to dry up fast in the heat. (Or maybe that’s my care, which is not admirable!)

It’s unusual here too. Ours is the dark crimson variety. 🤗💕

I haven’t seen many yellow ones, actually I can’t recall seeing one in Portugal. I think it’s much lovelier than the pink.

Nor me, Suzanne. It certainly captures the sunlight beautifully 🙂 🙂

I have many bougainvillea in my garden and love them for their cheeriness! My gold and yellow varieties aren’t quite as hardy as the pinks and reds, but I baby them when necessary. They make me happy. 🙂

I haven’t found one I don’t love, Debbie, but the paler shades are entrancing 🙂 🙂

Lovely yellows! Our bougainvilleas tropically come in pink & white, I don’t recall them in this hue.

They’re so pretty. We have two bushes in our yard, one with deep red flowers, the other with more orange-y ones.

Not so’s you’d notice, Liesbet, but they’re pretty. I understand congratulations are in order. I’ll stop by later 🙂 🙂

You’re a darling, Jo! But, I’d rather take the congratulations when nothing else can go wrong. Meaning: once it’s all a done deal, hopefully on November 28th. 🙂

Yellow bougainvilleas – rather unusual. I’ve seen them but I am more familiar with the bright pink and fuchsia and purple shades.

Very sunny and appreciated on yet another grey day. I like the orange / salmon type too as a change from the pinks.

I was eyeing up the house for you. I can’t afford it and it’s not near enough the sea 🙂 🙂

Near enough to walk to the sea? 🙄 And more importantly, does it have a garden 😁

Huge garden. You could play for hours. Kwite a bit of hard landscaping so maintenance probably ok. But 15/20 mins drive to the sea. 🙂 🙂

Same as here then. My dream is to open the garden gate and stroll down a quiet lane with the beach at the end. Suspect that’s not going to happen 😕

Thanks! It’s drizzling a bit, unexpectedly, and I was going to use a crimson hibiscus with teardrops of rain but it’s a bit blurry 🙂 🙂
