I do love the old chimneys around here, so often topped off by a stork’s nest. No resident stork on this one but you’ve got value for money with the reflection. Two for the price of one. Wishing you a happy day!

This is a beautiful images Jo. I hope things don’t get worse there; stay safe (and hopefully have a great weekend despite the restrictions)

Often our weekends are the least exciting times, Su, which is funny because in your working life everything is geared to the weekend π π Thanks, hon!

Nice reflection, Jo. Are you having lockdowns again?

Not exactly a lockdown, Janet, but they are restricting movement out of your own municipality this weekend to stop tribes of family arriving to celebrate All Saints together. π¦

This is such a different mood from your last – austere, calm but still very beautiful. I like how there is so much pink in it.

This was going to be yesterday’s sober follow up to Monday’s street art, but ‘somebody’ had an anniversary π π

I’m busy reflecting now! How to fit everything in over this next complicated week. Scratches head, Laurel and Hardy style. Many thanks π€ππ

We’re locked down in our own municipality from Friday till Monday evening, on account of All Saints, and I have people from outside the area that I’m trying to see, fitted around that. The press are anticipating State of Emergency here in the near future and it’s all feeling a bit stressy. π π

I didn’t think it was that bad over there. All very much doom and gloom here, though Cornwall is still doing well.

The Algarve is still doing pretty well but the whole country is subject to the same rules. Not sure if it’s an overreaction, but I understand that hospitals in the north are struggling to cope, so, presumably only a matter of time. Mostly they’ve been very sensible here but I found wearing a mask to play cro4uet very uncomfortable today, and am a bit bemused that non-residents can move freely this weekend, while residents can’t. I guess they don’t want to penalise tourists and people who might spend money. Not sure… π¦

St Ives very busy this half term week, despite the crappy weather. We are resigned to staying at home. Luckily neither of us minds.

Such still water and beautiful reflections. Sadly, the opportunities to re-invent these factories as cultural spaces are probably much diminished at the moment.

Yes, you’re probably right but Tavira exists largely on tourism and there’s scope π€ππ
