Six word Saturday

New winter timetable for Tavira ferry

Normally the town ferry to Tavira Island stops in late September.  This year it has continued, with a stop off at Quatro Aguas, replacing the smaller ferry from there.  A winter’s day, with water like a millpond.  Since these were taken on Wednesday, we’ve had 2 rainy days, but it’s back to blue this morning.  I can happily waste my time here, Debbie.  Happy Saturday!

  1. Darling it isn’t possible to waste time in Tavira! I remember the ferry to the Ilha, It was so tranquil, I could have sat and stared at the endless blue all day. Like Jude the rain has been driving me crazy, but today there won’t be any, just grey and dull.Hope your Sunday is peaceful and fun, love Gx

    1. Hello lovely 🙂 🙂 Seeing your name in the comments always brightens my day. We’re walking with the locals this morning, then a few of us will gather at a friend’s new home. I should get a couple of peaceful hours at teatime (to finish ‘my’ walk 🙂 ) before supper with Marie and another neighbour.

  2. Ah, ‘sailing dingees’ [sic]. I can see why you’d want to sit and admire that view. Glass of white sounds perfect… I won’t be doing much of that this weekend. More like hot chocolate weather (though actually it is not that cold, just grey and wet…) have I mentioned the wet recently? 🙄

      1. At Marie’s till close to midnight. A really exciting tie, Rafa beat Evans and then went on to play doubles with Lopez against Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski. Very tense 3 sets, great tennis! 🙂 🙂

    1. The skies are the same again today, but I have t’ai chi this morning and yoga this afternoon, so not much time for loitering. 🙂 🙂 It’s one of my favourite spots too, Gilda. Happy Saturday!
