Water is the most fascinating thing. The gentle drizzle didn’t even matter too much. Being in Alnwick Water Gardens was still a very nice way to spend an anniversary. Just look at the fun you can have if you’re wearing wellies!
Watching the liquid patterns, an idea came to me. I have no patience with selfies, but a little distortion might be fun? Thanks, Debs, for constantly providing inspiration. I love the quote in this post.
Ann-Christine’s Patterns are very different, and very beautiful. I hope you’re following the Lens-Artists. I will be returning to the Alnwick Garden in a future post. See you soon!

“Cool” selection of photos for the theme, Jo. They’re my kind of selfies. 🙂

The little girl doesn’t appear to be enjoying this too much! And these were not operating on my visit. Hope you are having fun with the youngster. He’ll probably wear you out!

She wasn’t and her baby sister was tormenting her too, but that’s kids for you. 🙂 🙂 We had tears last night when he accidentally tore a new reading book but he’s bright as a button this morning. Fortunately it’s sunny so we can do park and probably beach before we take him home at teatime.

Must be very strange suddenly having a five-year old staying with you not having known him from a baby. Must be strange for him too! He sounds very sweet still.

He is a lovely child. A bit sensitive but with a bubbly, happy personality. 🙂

Nothing wrong with being sensitive as long as he doesn’t end up being bullied 😦

As Jude points out, the little girl wasn’t so happy but the boy was having a great old time, and the adults too. 🙂

I love how kids don’t care about getting wet when it comes to water. We could all learn a thing or two from them about just jumping in!

The photo of the little lad running from the water is priceless Jo. Water is fascinating to watch isn’t it? Has a real life and character of its own.

He was such a cute kid. There were 2 little girls who weren’t quite so keen on being stranded in the middle. It made fun watching, Jonno. 🙂 🙂

Makes it sound like a haunting! Taking a 5 year old to the beach today if the weather cooperates 😃😃

Lots of heavy playing on the horizon then. We have autumn here – grey, windy and even rain in the night. Not haunting but cheering!
