Spot the theme?

I’m interpreting the Weekly Photo Challenge to suit myself this week.  On Monday’s chilly walk I suggested that I still have a few warm Algarve images to share, and here they are in  Variations on a Theme

Those of you who know me will have spotted that the theme is Tavira.  I’m heading there this weekend and this will be my last post for a while.

I couldn’t leave without one more tribute to Paula.  She works hard and still manages to bring us Thursday’s Special each week.  Two views on the same subject.  What do you think?  Take care, till next time.

  1. Sitting here on a freezing cold day in February, I can only think you are in the right place dear Jo! Love your pics as always, the hats are great. And of course the beautiful kitty. You knew I would like that shot 🙂 I won’t say hope you’re having a great time, as I know you are. Thanks so much for keeping in touch. See you when you get back lovely lady 🙂 xxx

  2. Gorgeous photos Jo – Tavira looks a beautiful place can well understand why you love it there! Realise you may be offline but enjoy your time in Portugal and the milder weather! Sorry I have been very hit and miss recently – has been a lot going on but now have a month’s break from visitors etc before we are due to travel to Uk for 3 weeks (all pre booked before my mum passed away but we also need to visit in laws etc). Now planning to get back to my weekly post though changing the way I do my photos as it was taking me far too long to water mark each one! Hope you are enjoying some lovely Portuguese walks xx 🙂

    1. Hiya darlin 🙂 🙂 No worries about the frequency, the wonderful thing is that you always come back, and that is much appreciated. I have stopped blogging for a while but we now have WiFi set up at the house so I can keep track when I want. We’ve been here a week now and, yes, had some lovely walks. Been out with the neighbours and sometimes just sat and looked at the sea. (often with a naughty glass to hand 🙂 ). It’s going to be our way of life, Rosemay, so I’m not rushing anything. I reached for the laptop this morning to start writing the next walk because the skies are heavy. Desperate for rain here but it’s a few sprinkles here and there. We have 10km around the salt marshes planned, and a flamingo or two to spot. Take care, hon!

      1. Thanks Jo that’s lovely of you and I always appreciate all your posts and support of my blog too. Your new life sounds idyllic to me – a cheeky glass of wine is always a good idea in my book. We are just setting off to go down to the sea ourselves to take the dog for a late afteernoon walk. Our lifestyle is changing too as Monsieur is finishing up his high stress job at the end of the month and currently works from home. It’s been a long time in planning but he’s already loving the more relaxed way of living! Are you now permanently in the Algarve? Very best wishes with it all and look forward to your blogs about your new way of life take care!

      2. We’re just here for 5 weeks this time. When we go back we’ll be selling up and preparing for the move later this year. It’s set to be the coldest week of the winter in the UK so I’m happy to be here. It will make a big difference to both of you when your husband can leave the stress behind. 🙂 🙂

    1. Thanks, darlin! It was really windy yesterday and I’d never have kept a hat on my head, but we had a beautiful walk with the group today. 🙂 🙂 Are your eyes about back to normal now? Hope so!

      1. Oh, I really don’t do windy. My hair flies every which way. 😳 Yes my eyes are almost as good as new again. I got me some driving glasses and passed my Florida driver’s test last week. 👍
