Much more in control than he was. I’ll probably still only see them twice a year. Who knows? Just been out to lunch with friends and have decided we’d better create a rota when we get there. 🙂
And I’m busy planning how to suggest to the OH that we go over to the Algarve for my birthday in October. (October is a good time to be there isn’t it?) Maybe stay in Olhao where Becky goes as it seems to have good transport links and I don’t think I want to drive in Portugal. Talking of driving, do you have a car over there or hire one? Must be expensive to hire one for 5 weeks. Or do you just use public transport?
October was exceptionally lovely last year and is usually a good month. I think Tavira is better but I could be biased. I can send you some links if you like but accommodation wise there’s no hurry. 🙂
Forgot to say that it depends on time of year. I think car hire is costing about £250 for this 5 weeks but more in Summer. Transport links between Faro and the Spanish border are good.

That seems very cheap compared to what I have had to pay out in Canada and USA. So we can get to Olhao / Tavira from the airport by bus?
