Easing out of the clouds and circling round. Where am I? Many of you will know the landscape that I sometimes call home.
It’s beautiful, isn’t it? The big question. Can I bear to settle there? A wanderer for most of my life.
David asks what gives you the Wanderlust. I’d love to get close to that kangaroo of his.
Beautiful landscapes!

Wonderful photos, Jo. You asked a good question. Can you settle in one place? 😉 Maybe not quite yet! But it’s beautiful down there.

I feel like I’ve been on the end of a piece of string so far this year, Debbie! Twice to the Algarve, Florence, the Isle of Anglesey, back and forth to Leeds, and tomorrow, Bristol! But yes, beautiful, and how lucky am I? 🙂 🙂

I’ve never traveled much, Jo, but I’m sure it’s an exhilarating pleasure! I’d say to chase those dreams! Lovely!

Sell both and buy a gypsy caravan! Would that meet with spousal appproval?? I don’t envy you the choice. What new sense “you can have it all” is!

Not in the least, Meg! Not even a static caravan 😦 I have suggested a narrowboat, or any kind of boat other than rowing, but he’s not buying it… literally 🙂 🙂 He’s too busy with work to think of anything much else at present. And James is still keeping us on our toes. (in Manchester training for the new job but zipping around, trying to drive company car, and his own, to where they need to be! Some day will life be uncomplicated and boring? I suppose I hope not. Just keep ladling on the hugs 🙂

This is a remarkable set of photos Jo. I’ve taken scores of photos from the plane and they never equal the view I see. These are exceptional. ~James

Jo, I recognise this beautiful landscape. In many ways you have the best of both worlds, why choose one when you can have both?

In part, because there is a financial aspect, Gilda. At present Mick is still working but he doesn’t earn a lot and once he retires it won’t be so easy to maintain both. Nice while it lasts, though. 🙂
