A warm glow

Still in Zawady, this is where I lay my head on an evening, before waking to that lovely view.  I had a post almost in readiness for today, when Paula whispered ‘glow’.  Her wish is my command- if I’m able.  Go and worship the sun over at her place.  It’s beautiful.

P.S.  Grateful thanks to Lunapic– an old pal.

    1. The bedding was colourful floral shades but when I Lunapic’d it the chocolate was a bonus, Pauline. 🙂 🙂 It turned an average shot into something very pretty.

      2. Oh, sweetheart- thank you! I’m not canvassing because I won’t be there and I don’t like the ‘vote for me’ stuff. Bless you 🙂

    1. I don’t often have time to mess about with it, Dianne, but I remembered the glitter effect from long ago, and it really works nicely here. Thanks, darlin’. Have a good weekend! 🙂

    1. The colours are more vibrant in real life, Meg, but when Jadzia switched the lights on for me I just knew I had to have a shot. It works well with the glitter effect, I think. 🙂 🙂

      1. The glitter effect eh?? And you are non techno! You started me on the slippery slope of enhancing photos with Lunapic, I’ll have you remember. I’m glad you did take that shot, and that you shared it.

    2. Thanks, sweetheart 🙂 Just published another aspect of my Polish neighbourhood, but I’ll be offline for most of the day. I have the ‘girls’ coming tonight and much to be done. Enjoy your day 🙂 🙂

    1. It was a bit full on, Gilly, but we acquired the car bumper we needed, in the back streets of Dewsbury (wrong colour and with a dent in, but otherwise perfect 🙂 🙂 ). A meal at Turtle Bay in Leeds was followed by the Sculpture Park, which was a bit drizzly but beautiful. I will be back in the Autumn! 🙂

      1. Royal blue car, bright red bumper. Classy? 🙂 🙂 Google Yorkshire Sculpture Park and you’ll see why. It’s parkland with lots of trees. The rhodies were fab, despite the rain.

  1. Beautiful photo. Not sure I’d want to lay in the bed….I’m imagining prickly little stings of light. Of course, you were probably clever and used one of those creative photo programs. Still, beautiful!

  2. The opening photo for Zawady is gorgeous, and then I saw something that looks like ducklings which will put a smile back on my face. Sharing a photo of your bed is very special 🙂 I am very thankful. I hope you don’t mind that I include it again in a poll next week. Have a good day, Jo!
