Are you nearly ready?  Merry Christmas!

I really meant to add a ‘twinkle’ to the WordPress weekly challenge last week.  But then I decided to save it, for you. You might be needing it by now.  Christmas can be a challenging time, but I’m doing my best to be laid back this year.  I hope you’re managing to do the same.

I think the snowman's managed it!

A very Merry Christmas to you!

Just off to wish Cate Merry Christmas too.  52 Six word Saturdays is no mean feat!

    1. Hmm- don’t remind me 🙂 I have presents to wrap and little niggling things I need keep popping into my head. I should write them down. 🙂 But I’m not stressing, right? Have a very lovely Christmas and best wishes to you and your family, Rosemay.

      1. Thanks Jo It’s so easy to get caught up in the stress as everyone seems rather frantic at this time of year! Have my daughter and family staying from Christmas Eve onwards so that’s my deadline won’t get much done after they arrive! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas too 😃

  2. Merry Christmas, Jo! I hope you’re enjoying the holiday preparations. I still haven’t received your card, but it could be in the central location where all mail is received and it’s possible no one has contacted me about it. I’ll go by and check on it tomorrow. 🙂

    1. Thanks, Cathy. Sending you Christmas hugs this dark Winter solstice morning. 🙂 Thank you for all the information you send. I should write proper emails but sometimes it’s easier just to ‘talk’ on here (I’m a lazy b in other words 🙂 ) Great news about Adam- I do hope he can!

      1. Thanks for your hugs, Jo. I needed them on the winter solstice as I had a bad cold all weekend. Yes, it’s easy to just talk on here, so don’t worry about sending a proper email. I’ll try to check on your card this afternoon. It will be Alex who comes in February. Adam may come in late May or early June. 🙂 It’s almost Christmas!! 🙂

  3. Have a good one Jo, mine will be very minimalist thus year, not even had time to send any cards! And there is just the two of us for dinner, so no need for turkey and all that. Nice and peaceful. Thank you for all your lovely posts and walks this year, I have enjoyed every step with you and hope there will be more to join in with next year. Take care and have fun with the family.

    1. Ours is pretty peaceful too, once I get past the jiggling the pans stage. There will only be the 4 of us but I still get hyper in the kitchen. Not a natural cook 😦
Thank you for your lovely comments and for your friendship, Jude. Overall it’s been a good year, hasn’t it? I hope 2015 is as kind. I’m halfway through tomorrow’s walk, which is another lovely place to go 🙂

    1. Oh, I am sorry! 😦 You see, I feel quite ‘together’ this year, but it will probably all unravel around my ears. Maybe I should wrap some presents 🙂 Hope that, when you get there, your Christmas is beautiful!

    1. I’m wondering what it is I’ve forgotten, Gilly! I’m usually a bit more random than this too. I should be wrapping pressies instead of watching Strictly. But there’s lots of time… isn’t there? Merry Christmas to you, hon. 🙂
