Sigh! It’s wonderful to look back on. I hope you enjoyed it too. It’s a long Bank Holiday weekend here in England, so plenty to see and do. I’ll still be walking on Monday so I’ll see you then. Have fun, whatever you do, even if that’s nothing at all!
Cate at Show My Face would love you to play Six word Saturday, if you can find the time.

I’ve never seen such fancy door knobs, Jo; they make mine look so boring. Great photos! It is nice to look back, isn’t it?

It was SO tasty, Ron. It’s lunch time here (and a wet Bank Holiday 😦 ) so I could really use some.

I kept dragging my husband back past that shop in hopes of buying some, but we never did 😦

Oh no! I just read this! Why didn’t you just go in and buy them? I used to do this all the time then regret it later. Now if I see something I love I buy it. I am too old to have regrets.

I never have money on me, Jude 😦 Mick carries it all. I’m too irresponsible 🙂
They wouldn’t really go with anything we have here, but maybe in the Algarve. I’m going to Nottingham soon. I think I might have seen a shop selling something similar in that neck of the woods. If there is one, Lisa will know 🙂

Thanks, Ann 🙂 I found it quite a special place. I’m not a shopper but I loved the old fashioned galleries, full of ‘surprises’ like the doorknobs.

I enjoyed your lovely pictures: how did you manage to avoid the hordes which were assuredly all around you? Or was Paris on holiday? Was Galerie Vivienne in rue Vivienne, near the Palais Royale? My blog header is from a photo taken there! Please may I borrow that pic of crochet Eiffel Towers for Sally?

Of course you may! Aren’t they brilliant? I spent quite a bit of time hunting down the ‘passages’ and we were in the right neighbourhood for them. I loved the quirkiness of the shops though I’m absolutely not a shopper. Yes- you’re in the right place.
I’m quite patient at waiting for people to move out of shot 🙂
Company gone? Have a nice weekend, Viv 🙂
