Can you read the time? It’s just after midnight and I’m feeling a little tired. Can’t go to bed though, till I’ve found something interesting for Lisa’s 1 Day 1 World Project.
The cellphone is very old and battered so it needs a little spicing up. It’s sitting on a postcard Viveka sent me from Istanbul. I hope she doesn’t mind.
The watch? Well, I only have skinny wrists so I often wear a child’s watch. This is my current favourite and it too has an exotic location. And the time? Definitely, time for bed!
If you’re a night owl, Lisa would love your company. She’s taken to late night visits to the icecream parlour! Me, I just play with Lunapic.

Beautiful edit Jo. I can see you had lots of fun. Love the watch. Gorgeous! 😀

For years I had a lovely red Snoopy watch, Sonel. He used to skip round the dial telling the time. 🙂 My daughter bought me a replacement on Ebay earlier this year. Not the same, but a nice thought.
Happy weekend! 🙂

Still enjoying your new toy 😉
I love the watch. I had one that was rather similar, happy sun and everything, when I was quite little, only it was red. I managed to lose it on a day out and was devastated!

Only on this project, Steven, because it requires a little ‘out of the box’ thinking 🙂
I had a red Snoopy watch for years and was so upset when it broke. He used to skip round the dial telling the time 🙂 My daughter bought me a replacement on Ebay. It doesn’t have the spinning dial and doesn’t keep very good time (it’s an old ‘wind up’) but I love it anyway.
How’re you?

You are endlessly inventive. The mere though of being up after 12 is enough to cut off all thought, and creativity wouldn’t have a hope. Great effects.

You sure have fun with your new apps, Jo! Who knows, you may still be up playing with them at the next time slot! Love that cheery little watch!

It’s not easy to find interesting shots for the later time slots without the effects, Cathy. I thought I’d get ‘told off’ for using them again, but I do think they’re really clever 🙂

Who would tell you off, Jo? No one, I’m sure! Use them to your heart’s content. 🙂

The strap’s starting to go, Gilly, so I’ll have to invest another 5 euros for a replacement watch next time I’m in the Algarve. Single-handedly I keep the economy afloat! 🙂 🙂

A fun choice for 12:00 am, Jo! I’m going to get creative with my photos for 1 am too… they are definitely not stand alone material but I’ll find a way to make them more interesting and tell a story. 🙂

I daren’t inflict any more Lunapic on folks, Lisa, brilliant though it is. I’m hoping to be soundly asleep. It’s a shame because your 2-3am posts will occur when I’m in Paris and there’s no likelihood of me posting then. 🙂

I can also see Istanbul in that first photo. What am I looking at Jo? I must be tired. 🙂

Sorry to confuse, Sue 🙂 I wasn’t sure if I should post the original photo too. I have the advantage of knowing that it’s a beautiful postcard of Leander’s Tower in Istanbul and my little black Nokia. The ‘Tiny world’ effect suggested you needed a photo with sky in to make it work, and it does. No more monkey business, honest! I’ll be asleep at 1am.

Oh now that makes sense. You are having lots of fun with your new editing aren’t you? Appreciate the explanation and I love all things Istanbul. 😉

Thanks, Mary. I used the Tiny World effect with the postcard- it said it worked best with photos including sky. It’s a lovely postcard. Shame to have distorted it, really 🙂

I seem to remember promising ‘no more’, Madhu, but I really needed to get creative with this subject. I’d probably had one glass too many when I took the photos I wanted to use and they really weren’t ‘stand alone’ material. I will definitely be in bed for the 1am slot 🙂 Thanks for your lovely company today.
