Where
have
you
seen
this
before?
Don’t recognise it? It’s Tavira in the Algarve, but I’m home again, with that pocketful of memories. You know I love to share, so here I am, participating in Six word Saturday.
Have a beautiful weekend, wherever you are, and don’t forget to join Cate at Show My Face. Just click on the logo, or the links.

Welcome back Jo. Beautiful photos. I take it the camera recovered fully from its bath? Looks like the laptop is humming along as well. Good news on both fronts i hope.

The camera is doing its valiant best, Sue, thanks. The laptop is still ‘iffy’ but I’m talking sweetly to it 🙂

Fingers crossed for a full recovery for both!

Algarve is waiting for you to return! 🙂 Will it be long?
Lovely photos, Jo. Have a great weekend.

Hi Dina, from sunny Hartlepool 🙂 This was only a short trip so we hope to be back September/October time.

Oh I do like your set up for this! It’s so very lovely too. Enjoy all and especially your pocketful of memories!

Thanks a lot, Karen 🙂 It was quite a big pocketful of memories so there’s sure to be a follow up. (or two!)

Wonderful photos Jo! We were just talking about visiting Costa Rica or Portugal I think you have swayed me to see Portugal first! Glad you are back but sorry you had to leave such a beautiful place.

Those are two very different options, Tonya 🙂 I can’t speak for Costa Rica but it does look very beautiful in photos. You know how I feel about Portugal!

Love your six word set up this week. What kind of flower is that? It looks so pretty.

Hi Amanda 🙂 A week ago I would have told you it was a Livingstone Daisy or Hottentot Fig, but we actually saw them on a notice board described as Ice plants. They like beachside locations and dry conditions and I love them. They come in lemon yellow too.

Same thing I believe. Also known as mesembryanthemums and vygies!

Thanks, Dawn 🙂 I’m not going to say it’s good to be back, but I suppose it is. Washing and ironing and cooking are easy to live without, aren’t they? Though, to be fair, I did some in the Algarve too. It just feels different.

Aaaah! A sigh of contentment that you’re back, and that you shared your tranquillity in the Algarve through such beautiful photos. I’m drawing breath on a rainy day in Warsaw, trying to get my head around the fact that I’m not wandering any more, and learning to play in a Polish sandpit with two fast-moving entities!

Sandpit? Po polsku? I don’t suppose I’ll need the expression in a hurry, but you never know 🙂
It sounds more fun than the washing and ironing. I can’t wait to start on my Monday walk post.

They are variations on a theme, Ann, so they’re new to everyone, but instantly recognisable to some. It’s my second home and I miss it if I’m gone too long. Hope you’re having a gentle weekend. 🙂

Glad you got the laptop sorted 🙂 Eeh, the challenges life brings, Viv! Mine is still limping along. We’ll have to bite the bullet for a new one or an iPad soon. Hope you’re having a happy time.

Did you spot ‘me’ on the bridge, Rough? It made me smile when I saw the photo. We met some new neighbours, and I managed to fall down a ‘hole’ while out walking. Just 2 of my highlights 🙂 Fortunately for me, I seem to bounce better than you.
