Flying high in the Algarve.
I struggled a bit to find carefree this week. It’s not always gifted to us, is it? But if there’s anywhere I can find it, you might know it would be in my beloved Algarve. Click on the gallery below and maybe lighten your spirits.
Dipping and diving- what could be more carefree?
How about my swing seat, poised for action?
My favourite island, Armona, always promises carefree
Especially on the beach.
Nothing more carefree than children, even in a crocodile.
A ride on a toy train might do it, or would you choose the bike?
Flowers spilling over promise carefree to me.
I’m feeling better already. Have you entered the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge yet? Hoping this finds you in a carefree frame of mind.

first photo is my favorite; better to stand with feet on ground and take photos than to trust the wind high above feet hanging in the air …

Exactly my own thoughts, Frizz. A splash landing didn’t really appeal. Got to keep the camera dry. 🙂

Love those kites Jo and the lighting in the last pic is fab 🙂

Thanks, Suze. Michael has a much better shot of the bridge and lighting, but it’s longways across the bridge so you don’t really see the bike, which is my favourite bit. 🙂

Nice interpretation Jo 🙂

Thanks, Paula. From high flying, down to earth with a bump and a Mary Poppins moment. I guess that’s me alright. 🙂

I like it too, Sonel, though it could definitely use some of your processing. A Mary Poppins moment? 🙂

No processing needed there Jo and you’re right, a true Mary Poppins moment. 😀 *hugs*

Algarve is a piece of paradise. A place to just relax and enjoy life. I have not done any flying sport but I bet it’s amazing. I just need to take some anti-anxiety med or something. I get a bit scared with heights. Awesome pics.

I kept both feet firmly on the ground, Mr. T. My excuse was I didn’t want wobbly photos 🙂 Glorious to watch though.

Jo, the Algarve is always carefree – you picked the right subject. I had a wonderful carefree summer there (as did the whole family – especially the kids now they are older teenagers – perfect destination for them). Thanks for sharing! Cath
