Holiday over and back to “normal”.
Except it isn’t really normal at all! I can’t remember the last time we had a whole July’s worth of sunshine. No complaints, then.
But I can’t seem to shake the Algarve completely out of my head. Maybe if I post another photo or two?
That’s me done dreaming for this week. Feet firmly back on the ground tomorrow? Meantime I need to thank Cate at Show My Face for her unending patience in hosting this challenge. The link or the header will take you there.
How was your week? Put it in six words and join in? The button below takes you to all my previous Six word saturdays. (yes, all of them!)

Loving the sun here in the UK too and finally booked my October Portugal trip so hope it heads over to Lagos next in time for that!

The old side of Lagos is lovely. It’ll make a good base. If you want any ideas give me a shout nearer the time. 🙂

Hello Johanna, I ltotally share this Denver’s quote impression I’ll save it. You reminds me also of an old song oooo the good life to be free and explore the unknown, not sure about the lyrics…Humm… I wish I could see the procession of Nossa Senhora those moments are often kind of magic. Thanks for those beautifuls pictures !

Thanks, Grace. It was a warm night and we were tired and almost didn’t go as we’d seen it before. I was glad we did. The atmosphere is amazing. 🙂

Still suffering from the holiday blues Jo; know that feeling well when you have a foot in one place and another in another

I should be used to it, Tink. It’s much worse in the Winter when you know you’re going back to gloom 🙂

Some of these shots looks very familiar, Jo! I have some of the same ones myself. I know it was hard for your holiday to end. I’m glad you enjoyed your last couple of days after I left, and I’m also glad you were able to return to warm weather, at least for a while. 🙂 (I thought I already commented on this post, but I guess not!)

Hiya Cathy! Settled back yet? I need to do some visiting later to catch up with your exploits. 🙂

I’m getting there, Jo! But it’s a long slow process, especially since the house is a total mess; Mike and my two sons need my organizing hand here. I’m being ruthless in discarding old and useless stuff that has been accumulating in this house. You haven’t missed anything by not checking in; my computer is in the shop having extra hard drive space put on it and I’ve been too busy to blog, but I hope to get back to it soon. Did you see I sent you a message on Facebook? I got your package… Thank you so much! You are the best. 🙂

Not been to Facebook today yet. It was as cheap to send it on the 5day option as slow mail. It was all down to size and weight. Glad it arrived ok.
Dread to think what it’s like. If I leave James room overnight I can barely get in the door! 🙂

It’s a lovely evening, Imelda. Everyone gathers in the huge courtyard outside the church to listen to the service on speakers, before the procession starts. Such a nice atmosphere. 🙂
