Best Moment Award

award

Awarding the people who live in the moment,
The noble who write and capture the best in life,
The bold who reminded us what really mattered –
Savoring the experience of quality time.

I am absolutely determined (well, a little bit anyway) to clear all my “unfinished business” before I go to Poland.  What do I find, loitering in my Inbox, but a Best Moment Award.  It’s a pleasing shape, isn’t it?  Reminds me just a bit of Rafa’s Barcelona Trophy, but not quite so heavy.

No, I wasn't there! I very naughtily pinched this image from Zee News. Hope I'm forgiven.

No, I wasn’t there! I very naughtily pinched this image from Zee News. Apologies.

Moment Matters were kind enough to bequeath me this award, and then, just the other day, lovely Letizia of Dutch goes Italian nominated me again.

I misunderstood initially.  I didn’t read the verse properly and had it fixed in my head that this was about a “best moment”.  How to choose?  So many best moments!  And maybe, if I’m lucky, some best moments still to come.

  1. Congratulations Jo! Thank you for the nomination too. That’s one very special wedding and your pictures of Poland is giving me the itch to see that part of Europe too. 😉

    1. That one is from the official collection, Sam. I meant to put a credit in but don’t know his full name, and I was hurrying before I went away. He’s a friend of my daughters. The wedding CD is fabulous. Thanks for being such a good companion always. 🙂

  2. I was just telling my room mate yesterday, that I love looking at other people’s photos…. I could just pour through family albums of people I might not even know that well. I just feel like photos tell the most amazing stories. At any rate, thank you for sharing your photos… That looks like it was one heck of a wedding!

    1. Mantelpiece! What mantelpiece? Just orange boxes in our house!
(that’s just a small lie) 🙂 I may be visiting Gib next month but it’ll just be a flier. The husband may opt for a peaceful day while I hop a coach trip.

    1. I know that the wonderful moments will come, Elaine, but I may be a little tongue-tied and speechless for a while. (it has novelty value- my husband is going to enjoy the peace while I’m gone) 🙂
