Bright lights on the new bridge

Our first evening out in a long, long time. It had to include a stroll across the new bridge. And inevitably a BrightSquare. And what’s one more Six Word Saturday between friends? Have a good weekend everyone!

Those lights are definitely bright. π π

And even pinkish looking buildings…
How lovely to be out at night. I will simply be happy to have lunch out somewhere. I am soooo tired of making meals.

It was lovely to sit and watch the swifts. I didn’t get any good sunset shots π€π

Swifts haven’t arrived here yet, another month I’d say. No batty yet either, perhaps a little chilly for him. A pink sunset would be nice. Or even a sunrise.

Lovely reflection on the water. I’m glad you’re able to get out and about again. Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks, Graham! We have a rather strange set of restrictions here so weekends are not as free, but it was a lovely Friday evening celebration π π

Great reflections. It really is a dazzler. So glad you’ve had an evening out and enjoyed it. And a walk over that lovely bridge to finish would have made it a near-perfect evening (I’m presuming the weather was mild, or at least conducive for strolling). On Monday I have the hairdresser which will be heaven as I’m so unused to long hair, then Tuesday I’m hitting the bookshops again as they finally get to open when near normality will return. No indoor restaurants allowed yet, and I’m not a great fan of eating outdoors as the food gets cold, so I will have to forego lunch unless we have a heatwave. Meantime, have a great weekend, what’s left of it, and think of that bridge as a link to a happier future.

Thanks, Mari π π It was still about 16C and we weren’t far from a barbecue so it was warm enough to sit outside. Weekends everything has to close at 1.00pm so it was perfect timing.
