Six word Saturday

A kinda nice place to sit

The wall is a little shabby but this remains one of my favourite places to watch the world drift by. There’s a little kiosk that sells coffee and pastries, and even, if you’re good, a little tumbler of wine. And on a quiet day the ferryman will join you. Have a good weekend!

  1. Isn’t it a bit early for a tart of any sort? I thought that was more of a nighttime thing. 🙂 Oh. THAT sort of tart. OK, I’m in. I’ll have to get a cappuccino if it’s on offer or some sort of adulterated coffee to go with my pastry. And you tricky woman, combining two prompts. As soon as I saw the first bit in the Reader, I knew where you were headed. Well done.

  2. It is truly a place for reflecting and creativity in the mind. The shabby wall adds its character. The sky, the water, the boats and a kiosk. What more could one ask for? I can’t think of anything.

  3. Should I bring a cushion? I’m torn between the coffee and pastries or the wine. Pastries and wine don’t really work together, do this, so maybe I’ll wait until I get there – if there’s room by then – and make the big decision. Better ask the kiosk owner to get in extra supplies. If all your friends turn up he’ll be over run!
