I wouldn’t dare! During lockdown I’ve banished all chocolate and sweets from the house and I’m determined to lose a bit of weight. Some say wrong time to diet but I find it easier when I don’t go out. I can be miserable all by myself and not annoy friends.

I would have to if I was on my own, Mari. I can resist cream cakes but chocolate gets a hold of me, and I can’t stop! 😦 😦

Now I know why you moved to Tavira (well why Mick moved) but if that’s not fresh cream then I’ll pass. I only like cakes with fresh cream. Or without cream at all. A nice lemon polenta would be nice right now and actually I have a bag of polenta in the cupboard. Just need to find a recipe!

I’m only fussy, too! Don’t always like cream cakes, but this one was very nice. Not crazy about polenta but I’ll try a slice if you’re offering. Now, I DO like a rich fruit cake 🙂 🙂

Yes please! I am happy to report that our neighbors brought by home baked chocolate cookies yesterday. The Captain has been making lots of homemade Gnocchi but no snacks.

O my goodness, this is so yummy! As we had our fair share of chocolates for the past few weeks, we are trying to make smarter choices, but it doesn’t really work 😂
