I also like asparagus. I tend to use onion, bacon, and either broccoli or asparagus, but it’s also good without the bacon. One of the stores near me has Swiss cheese on sale this week and I’d already been thinking about quiche, so…
Groan…. just come over from DJ’s fruit and cream extravaganza to THIS! Love the salad(s) – what is in them? I am craving salads at the moment, but it is still cold and miserable here today. And yes, I’ll share the apple pie. We had our first ice-cream of the year yesterday. eaten outdoors looking at the waves 😀
Beetroot and feta in the main one. The other’s a tuna salad starter. I don’t normally like tuna but it disappeared quite swiftly. A bit like today’s sunshine. 🙂 🙂
And, as a matter of fact, I’m eating a banana with Greek yogurt for my lunch, right now. 🙂 (he’s had a chicken and bacon panini and a fresh cream donut!)
Absolutely, Sue! 🙂 🙂 As I said to Becky, this was a composite of different meals, the main photo being from Valentine’s Day- a very tasty beetroot and goat’s cheese salad.
Great squares and circles Jo – and a wonderful title.
And massive congratulations for getting that last shot – I’m hopeless at that, as the sweetness ends in my tummy long before the camera gets to me hands!
It’s a running joke between me and Mick in restaurant’s these days, Debs. ‘Can I eat it yet?’ He eats at the speed of the wind once he starts 🙂 🙂 And I have to keep slapping his hands to get them ‘off camera’. Who’d be married to a blogger? Thanks, darlin!
Oh,Mt his challenge is bringing out the punsters and everyone’s playfulness. Nicely conceived Jo. And i’m Just ready for dessert, which I’ve earned with a solitary swim, my first in many yrs.
As you might have guessed, that was Mick’s, Meg. 🙂 🙂 Can’t keep a man from his apple pie. I expect Jude would like some too. A lovely evening there? You’ve earned a rest! Sticky honey fingers hugs 🙂
Ever so scrumptious 😊

Feta in breadcrumbs? I made a warm halloumi salad the other evening. And goat’s cheese pizza.

Yes. Could have done with a bit more feta, to be truthful, but it was a new little restaurant and very nice. Our Valentine’s treat. 🙂

Bit of both. We were veggies when we met, but lapsed. Actually, still eating fish so not proper veggies. Hard not to living here.

Do you do lots of clever things with fish, then, or just stick it in the oven? 🙂
