I wasn’t really aware of them before I started the walks feature, Paula, but now I pay attention and look for them. 🙂 We have them on the cliff tops here at home and in the sandy soil by the beach, but these Algarve ones are real beauties.
On the Walk Algarve website their is a comprehensive list of them, complete with photos for most, but I couldn’t be certain which it was. I’ll never be a botanist. But I know it’s an orchid 🙂 🙂

That’ll do for me. Orchids (especially the wild ones) are beautiful, but not my favourite flowers.
