That’s the Transporter Bridge at Middlesbrough, Paula. (It’s visible on the shot from inside the hide too). It’s primarily a car transport with a hanging cradle that rides across the River Tees. Many years ago I used to travel to work across it every day ( a bit draughty 🙂 ) I suppose I should get myself along there and take you some industrial landscape photos.
