Thursday : Lingering look at windows, week 28

The Camara or Council Offices in Tavira. I love the fountains.

The Camara or Council Offices in Tavira. I love these fountains at night.

Well, where else would it be this week?  The Algarve, of course.  In Tavira alone I gazed at lots of windows.  Linger with me?

I collected a few more on my wanderings last trip.  Here are just a couple.  I’ll save some for a rainy day (hush, don’t mention that word!)

I’m lowering the lights with Tavira, and off to check out Dawn’s and the other entries for this week’s Lingering look at Windows.  See you there?

  1. I have always been drawn to the ORNATE. Ron being a welder is often asked by me in our travels “Can you do that?” Not that a home in NH being in the woods would need such glamor but maybe he can make me some outside goodies for Roses and such.

    Another beautiful post!

  2. il primo pensiero è stato -lindo- che in spagnolo sognifica bello, ma in italiano -pulito- c’è una purezza, un lindore totale, sia nelle foto che nella distesa cromatica e festosa delle finestre : come un inno alla vita
    bravissima Johanna!!!!!!
    first thought was-lindo-Spanish
It means beautiful, but Italian-clean-there’s a purity, a total clarity, both in photos and in color and festive expanse of Windows: as a hymn to life
    talented Johanna!!!!!!

    1. Un inno alla vita- a hymn to life. I love the idea of my windows being that! What a poet you are. In Portuguese lindo is beautiful too. So many lovely words. Grazie mille, cara. 🙂
