What is it about something that makes you just stop and have to take the photo? I’m not sure, but this little guy and his crab friend have it. I was heading into our railway station when the mural caught my eye. I’ve created a small square to fit Becky’s challenge, In the Pink. It’s such a very nice representation of Hartlepool Headland, with its pastel houses. Below you can see the whole. Am I pushing my luck to say Small is Beautiful?
Very cool 🙂

That seal is pretty darn cute! The artist caught that curious look they do so well. Wishing you lots of patience and no kerfuffles with the move! Just keep thinking how nice the new place will be!

As we inch closer the panic rises, Gunta, but I think we’ll be ok. Have had an emotional couple of ‘farewells’, though I hope to see many of them again. You never do know though- life has no guarantees. I know I owe you a visit. Asap 🙂 🙂

You’re in luck. It’s taking me forever to sort through all the images I took on our holiday. Just keep a lid on that panic! 😉

Great news about the SOLD sign being up. The mural is fascinating. So much detail. I was wondering if there was an owl in it that caught your eye but I don’t think so. There are some tall structures, though, that you might have thought would be fun to climb!

Funnily enough there’s an owl in today’s post. 😃😃 The mural is a very good representation of Hartlepool though.

Oh, rushing to check it out, instead of going to bed. I am a night owl, after all.

This mural is quite unusual and there’s so much detail to look at. I keep seeing new things.

It really does sum up the town quite well, Carol. We have seals nearby and a lighthouse on the Headland, and those cottages are exactly right. 🙂 🙂

This mural would draw my attention as well, Jo. I love sea lions. 🙂 I sometimes wonder as well what makes me turn my camera on (as I always carry it on me these days). The answer is: many situations, views and sights. To the point where I ask myself, “Really, another mossy tree or roaring waterfall? Or beautiful mural.” 🙂

Yep! Snap happy, that’s me 🙂 🙂 But I do think it focuses your attention.

It’s in those eyes of the seal. Beautiful. I like your squared version. It isolates the eyes more.

I was happy to see the mural there. The station needed an update. It was a sad old place. Nice seaside posters on the platform too 🙂 🙂

It’s beautiful Jo. I’m hoping the crabs aren’t really as big as seals. Now that would make quite the beach scene. 🙂

Fab time! You should have come. Could’ve had a singalong in the Cavern 🙂 🙂 Bus journey home was a bit of a disaster but I got there. Replying to comments on my phone is a bit hit and miss. Often don’t know if they’ve gone so apologies for any you get twice. And lo! The sun is shining. 🙂 Busy day today. Sold sign is up. Healthcare stuff to sort out. Will try and add to my Whatsapp but apologies if I don’t. Poor David!

Busy, busy, busy, if you are leaving next week. Did the buyer have a survey done? All good?

Not sure if full survey. Still waiting for estate agents blurb, though they’ve been and put the Sold sign up! They estimated 8/10 weeks, which will suit us, as we plan to return 9/11 to finalise bits. 🙂 🙂

Sold subject to contract? I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. I guess you have a lot of clearing out to do now. Getting rid of everything you don’t want to take with you. I don’t know how you are going to get all this done before you leave!

Spend less time here, I suspect. 🙂 🙂
